Food is the biggest driver. State governments need to increase supply by providing farm inputs, security and better access to market. |

Where is the shallow thinking in seeing my Yoruba brothers occupying highest offices in Nigeria? Are you sure cold is not disturbing you? Now tell me which region future is more brighter than the SW future in Nigeria of today? shortgun: This is shallow thinking and exactly what Mr. Macaroni is speaking against. All the people occupying the positions you just mentioned are not even up to 50 individuals. You can't sacrifice the well-being and future of millions of Yorubas just because of what few Yorubas are gaining in the current administration. The Yoruba cultural heritage should transcend party politics, including the APC. |

APC favour Yoruba stop arguing. Before APC, how many Yoruba don become Chief of Army Staff (COAS), EFCC chairman, Nigeria Custom controller, DSS chairman, CBN governor, NNPC chairman make stop here for now. Agbegbaorogboye: You mean OBJ, Dimeji Bankole, Bunmi Etteh are not Yoruba

PDP didn't gave us anything. We wanted Olu Falae. Agbegbaorogboye: PDP gave same and you still hated them You never ready talk truth Besides, is the Yoruba cause and agenda in Nigeria all about getting into political offices I believe Yorubacentrism cannot be such a shallow cause as to have political office as its core struggle |

Some people supported PDP for donkey years with nothing to show for it. Before APC Nigerians don dey see shege so leave suffering out of this. APC favour Yoruba. shortgun: It’s actually dumb to politicize a whole tribe because of a president or vice who will leave office after just 4 or 8 years. The president and vice president you got, are Yorubas not still suffering like everyone else? |

I think you should stop bothering yourself about PDP again. The party is unserious with many overzealous people who don't have the passion of the party at heart.
The serious men among them should form a new party and start building. |

So tell me anywhere in the world that you can make it with clean hands? I want to learn. SmartPolician: This is the answer you are looking for. I have repeatedly maintained that you cannot make it in today's Nigeria without getting your hands dirty....unless you came from a privileged family where your parents have done all the dirty jobs for you. The vast majority of Nigerians who got to the top today are evil. No amount of test or exam can change them. |

Politics › Re: INEC Should Introduce Public Office Qualification Exams by madridguy(m): 5:42am On May 29, 2025 |
Do you think Peter Obi will score a mark ? Let them organize examination tomorrow Tinubu will still come first. Validated: INEC needs to consider introducing political office examinations with passing scores of 70% and vie for political offices. This would reduce the rate at which uneducated individuals occupy public offices.
Governance is not the job for agberos and school drop-outs. We should be harnessing the knowledge of our best brains, not failures who would hijack political offices to cause mayhem.
Such exam should centre on governance, basic government knowledge, basic laws and office etiquette. |

Why are you always angry with any developmental news or success of Yorubaland? Penguin2: Ogbomoso being above Aba…
And Illorin being above Port Harcourt, has to be the joke of the century.
By whatever indices you measure it, except negative, there’s no way Ogbomoso will be above Aba and Illorin above Port Harcourt.
It’s now obvious that the guys at Statisense are high on some cheap Ogbomoso weed.
What rubbish! |
