She was never supposed to take the ministerial slot for Cross River just as the then Governor Ayade who nominated her for the position refused to acknowledge the nomination of a long standing jurist as the State Chief Justice all because she was not from Cross River but only married to a Cross Riverian.

Just so you all know, as far as the Constitution of Nigeria, ministers do not enjoy immunity at all. Only the President, Vice-President, Governors, and deputy Governors have immunity. So, there is nothing stopping anyone from bringing charges against the woman for even the past crimes she committed before she was made a minister. If EFCC fails to go after her, citizens can do it themselves.
