If you talk of local Government,I agree but state, no no no. Most of this state cannot stand on their own. Without federal allocation they can't pay salaries. Infact we should merge some states. Besides where will the government get the money for the take off of the new states?

so are saying ebonyi state should be merge enugu state. Bayelsa state should be merge with rivers. Abia state should merge with imo state. Akwa ibom merge with cross river. The other state are doing fine
