KoloOyinbo:

Hi.

Do you know in Port Harcourt (Pitawaka) - the corner of Obasanjo Way and Worlu Street used to be called 'ManMusWack'! I used to stay in the Landmark hotel within 2 minutes walk of it!

Most people define Atheist as someone who does not believe in God. This is most usually extended beyond the Agnostic position to imply a belief that God does not exist.

I did not call Atheism a religion but merely suggested that while the Agnostic can rationally support their stance a Theist or Atheist both ultimately rely on FAITH in their position. In this they are much more similar than either side would like or care to admit.

I am a Theist but only admit to rationality in the Agnostic position. As a rational human I often joke that -

I pray to God to make me an Agnostic! So if i told you that i believe in evolution, that life evolved, that there is evidence to back up my beliefs would you tell me that my beliefs are based on faith? If i said prehistoric animals existed at least 650 million years ago before Noah's Ark would you tell me what am saying is based on faith? Noah Ark and the bible or Prehistoric animals and evolution. I know which one makes more sense to me smiley

So if atheism is a religion what is the meaning of the word atheist? So there's no such thing as a non religious person is there?

Do you guys know that it's only African businesses that are being attacked. The few white restaurants and other businesses owned by the few white foreigners are left alone

I am begging on good Nigerians with good suggestion or those that are close to authority to help push my case in order for the Nigeria Police Force to pay us the benefits to enable me and my younger ones go to school to achieve something good in life.
I am ready to give answer to questions.
Thanks for taking time to read this far. God bless

After serving his country dutifully for 28 years he dies on duty and nobody in the Police force gives a damn. That is nigeria for you. Who knows whether somewhere someone is enjoying his pension and other benefits which should go to his struggling family. Al i can really say is that you should talk to other Police Officers with similar rank to your father and findout about what happens concerning pensions and benefits if a loved one dies during the call of duty then explain your situation and take it from there.

after how many years of boko haram terrorizing the north its not the missing chibok school girls or the two bombings in abuja or the estimated 2'000 killed in baga or the estimated 30 thousand innocents killed in the north its only the elections (that had to be cancelled) that he's thinking of and wants to win that made our government finally get serious about dealing with this boko haram issue

you really said all i wanted to say....plus i would never believe that racism case because...america is 50% black 50% white nd they have the lowest case of racism i can testify to that...even high people in their country are mixed blood of white nd black....as for food eat nd cook what will make u healthy.....even racism is worse here in africa/nigeria....u see someone look at u from head to toe as if u dont exist...there are millions of africans in America u can easily find nd learn the cultures......i wouldnt advice u to come home as u call it because home is where u feel comfort nd safety....where u feel loved and happy nd Nigeria especially is lacking in a few things....we all believe African countries will become greater one day but now is not the time..the country i would advise against is London or British countries......they are mad racist....nd silent killers....i can also testify to that....GOD bless Nigeria tho.. we gonna be gr8 one day with the right governance
Rubbish. I was born and bred in london and i can also testify that they are not mad racists here. Spain, Italy and Russia are much worse than England.

Rokiatu,
why are you telling us she brought him over and helped him with papers? so what? Why would a woman who has been married for 4 years with kids decide to leave her house and side with her mother because the husband is quarreling with her? If she wants to stay with her mom, so be it. She is not ready for marriage yet.
One thing that i know as fact is that when they come here there is always the possibility that they will change for the worse. A few weeks ago i read a story here about how an african american woman married and helped her nigerian husband to get his papers only for him to go to back home to marry his girlfriend.

Rokiatu

You didn't tell us why your friends husband hates his mother inlaw? Dose he have perfectly good reason for hating her or is it some lame excuse?
