My brother, I beg you in the name of God, please don't engage pigs and idiots in any argument about history. They don't have any genuine history and heritage, hence, they say rubbish about others history. I absolutely do not welcome any discussion about history from people that do not where they come from. Today they are lost tribe of Israel, Tomorrow their Eri fell from sky, next day they are from Uganda. I can welcome history discussion/argument from a Nupe man, from a Jukun man, from a Benin man, from an Urhobo man, from an hausa man, from an Ijaw man, from an Ibibio man, from an Igala man, from a Kanuri man, from a Birom man, from an Ekoi man, from Itshekiri man etc. But from an Osu, absolutely not!

Anytime they come up with the gibberish that Lagos is no man's land, I just tell me that they should come back and say so when every tribes go their separate way Shikena.
I like playing with their brains on the lagos issue the way they mention Benin I just dey laugh

Now its boring because I've brought to light what was hidden but it was not boring when you were saying Igbos show us the
80% investments in Lagos
100% in kano
600% in sokoto ..... grin grin grin grin grin grin
Abeg read the article below biko, its from a reliable source:
The Oba of Benin was head of the Benin-Empire which are present day Western, Southern and Eastern modern- day Nigeria.
The King never obliged anyone to speak the Bini language as he believed everyone was entitled to their own choice of language.

The name Eko was given to it by the First King of Lagos Oba Ado, the young and vibrant Prince from Benin. Eko was the Land now known as Lagos Island, where the king Palace was built. The palace is called IDUNGARAN meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the Warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the Southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “. Must have been used to indicate downtown (as in downtown Lagos)
Please feel free to check out Yoruba obas running lagos http://pleasuresmagazine.com.ng/2016/10/meet-50-obas-who-run-lagos-with-oba-rilwan-akiolu/
