They don't have any genuine history and heritage, hence, they say rubbish about others history. I absolutely do not welcome any discussion about history from people that do not where they come from. Anytime they come up with the gibberish that Lagos is no man's land, I just tell me that they should come back and say so when every tribes go their separate way Shikena.

The name Eko was given to it by the First King of Lagos Oba Ado, the young and vibrant Prince from Benin. Eko was the Land now known as Lagos Island, where the king Palace was built. The palace is called IDUNGARAN meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the Warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the Southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “.
