Go and read what I wrote before. The church / pastors who know what they are doing are doing enough already for the people. Was church giving scholarship to students from primary, secondary to university after tragedy, ? or building homes for the windows after tragedy or digging bore holes for community after tragedy ??
It's just because church or pastors don't announce all these good things on radio or television like your useless government will do something of #100 naira and will use #50 naira for advertisement to show off.
So how can church use his power and wealth to solve root problems?
Are the churches or pastors in political positions like your president, Governors, the executive government, legislature, the judiciary, the local governments, yet you leave all these political thieves who have been stealing our resources from time immemorial and you are blaming pastors just because they are wealthy, is that not baseless ??
Your politicians do not have political will to solve your root problems and you are asking someone who is not in power , someone you didn't vote for to help you solve your problems. There is no critical thinking here but nonsense . If you think Nigeria wealthy pastors is the problem poor Nigerians have then, your head should be examined properly. Your politicians stealing your money everyday you can not hold them accountable but you are blaming pastors who have foundations giving to the poor family, every year scholarships to students. When pastors and churches constantly flaunt their wealth buying private jets and exotic cars they are essentially painting a giant target on their congregations. They are advertising the church as a lucrative financial institution, not just a place of worship.

The most painful part is that it is the poor, faithful members who will suffer for this ostentation. The wealthy pastors are already shielded by tight police and private security. So, the kidnappers will logically target the vulnerable, everyday worshippers. They become the pawns because the criminals now believe the church has the money to pay. The poor are used as human ATMs, and their suffering is the price of their leaders' vanity.
