HealthRe: Ask The Eye Doctor Any Problem Concerning The Eyes by Masdec: 9:01am On Jun 08, 2020

hi dear your baby is having an intermittent strabismus. I'll advise patching of the good eye for some hours in the day . This is usually difficult as babies would always wanna take it off their eye. Discuss with your doctor on the option of using an eye drop in the place of patching.
Thank you sir.
Would do just that, sorry for asking Dr. but what's the average turn around time for recovery be it patching / eye drop and is the intermittent strabismus easier to treat/less complicated?

Good morning Dr.
I noticed My little boy who's just 1yr 9months left eye doesn't align with the right eye suddenly. I took him to a consultant and she said it's lazy eye and that since he's still growing there's a possibility of him out growing it. But again I noticed it's not always all the time he does it, usually when he's in a dark or confined environment or when he's tired/sleepy. He's very normal once we step outside.
I tried another Dr. Who advised patching, we tried it and noticed he was struggling with vision but he wouldn't let the patch stay.
I'm worried because it's already a month and it saddens me. Any advise, I'm confused
