how are u guys doing?
I had decided that I was gonna lay low awhile atleast till there was any credible info worth relating.
but some comments that I'm seeing both in dis thread and d original thread forced me to comment.

I had earlier posted that the ogas at NSITF travelled for 3weeks to Geneva.
Well it turned out that it was only the MD amongst the top management staff that travelled initially to Geneva.The ED's were around all through last week.They only just left for Geneva on Sunday to return by weekend.

As for the postings,its already done.all things being equal they may start sending texts messages b4 or by month end.

As for the salary increase,yes their Union has proposed a review and it has been approved in Principle but its implementation may take a long time in coming.

This is because their recurrent expenditure is almost close to their statutory allocation and income from remittances.

The salaries of their employees at present is almost 170m per month.Calculate that for 1year.Then add the salaries of our own batch which is presently over 1000 and you would understand why an upward review at present is not feasible.

With more income accruing to them from remittances and allocations and profits on serious investments,in time they will implement the review.

So for those of us who have grandiose expectations about the salary,I would suggest that you begin to readjust them.

The salary for positions less than deputy manager or senior manager(whichever is higher) is less than 100k presently.

However it's still a great job and I'm glad that I was employed.The potentials are incredible.Ciao
