It was a sad event yesterday in Ibadan as a young boys was electrocuted by the low voltage line while trying to fix a wire. The source who pleaded anonymity said that the boy tried to change the phase of the wire when his hand touched to the pole and he was electrocuted to death.

Although the authority of the electricity distribution company has not released any statement the case would be referred to as a case of sabotage as no official authority was given to the boy to perform such operation by the company of its staff.

10.) Zenvo ST1 ($1.2M) - 348 Million Naira

Kicking off our list is less of a car and more of an unchained animal in the ST1. Assembled in Zealand, Denmark, the Zenvo creates an absolutely obscene amount of power by combining a 6.8-liter V8 with both a supercharger and a turbocharger. Just how much is obscene exactly? How about 1,104 horsepower and 1,054 pound-feet of torque, all channeled to the car’s rear wheels.

Unfortunately for the Danish outfit, the mostly hand-built ST1 has been surrounded with controversy since its debut. During Top Gear’s 21st season, the program tested the supercar around its famous track, only to be met with constant breakdowns, slower than expected lap times, and a good old-fashioned engine fire.
Zenvo disputed Top Gear’s claims, stating the show only published the vehicle’s sluggish laps and that the fire was caused by hours of extreme driving. Nevertheless, the vehicle’s murderous looks and monstrous grunt are nothing to shake a stick at. We certainly wouldn’t kick it out of the garage.

9.) Ferrari LaFerrari ($1.4M) - 406 Million Naira

This 950-hp hypercar is so prestigious that its name literally translates to “The Ferrari” in Italian. The automaker’s first mild hybrid, LaFerrari equips a 6.3-liter V12 alongside an electric motor and trick Kinetic Energy Recovery System, which results in a shade less than 1,000 ponies and 664 pavement-crushing torques.
Few cars on the road are more striking, and even fewer accelerate faster. With a dry weight of less than 2,800 pounds, this dragon-like performance car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in less than 3.0 seconds, and it’ll prance to 124 mph in under 7. Flat out, it’ll top 217 mph.
The only thing quicker than the car itself is how fast it sold, as all 499 units were snatched up faster than you can say “bank loan.” Ferrari also produced a Hardc0re, FXX K version specifically for the track, which we’ll delve into later.

8.) Pagani Huayra ($1.4M) - 406 Million Naira

The Huayra is equally as famous for its odd-sounding name as it is for its face-melting performance. Named after the Incan God of Winds, the Huayra (pronounced why-rah) boasts an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V12 with two turbochargers, resulting in 620 hp and and a massive 740 lb-ft.

Just how swift is it? Around the Top Gear test track, it set a time of 1:13.8, some 3.0 seconds quicker than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. It even bested the Ariel Atom 500, which is essentially a go-kart with a 500-hp V8 strapped on the back. It still holds the show’s track record to this day, and that’s just the beginning. With incredible gullwing doors and one of the most intricate interiors ever designed, the Huayra is like nothing else on the road.

Researchers says the creatures are three to four times bigger than the average worm and ‘slightly spooky’

Massive worms which grow to the size of a small snake and are as heavy as mice have been discovered on a “barren island” in Scotland.

Some of the animals were 16ins long and weighed a whopping 12.5g, making them the largest earthworms in Britain, according to researchers.

They were found in Papadil, an abandoned settlement on the Isle of Rum, and were three to four times bigger than the average worm.

Finding a job still isn't all that easy for many workers in the post-recession years, but some may be unknowingly sabotaging their own chances of getting a job offer.

First impressions are hugely important, given that half of all hiring managers said they know within the first five minutes of an interview whether a candidate will be a good fit, according to a new survey from career site CareerBuilder. The study, conducted by Harris Poll, surveyed more than 2,500 hiring and human resource managers late last year.

It takes more than a sterling resume to get hired, given that body language and strange habits can derail a candidate's chances. It turns out there are several sure-fire ways to ruin a job interview. Hint: if you are tempted to answer a cellphone or text during the interview, take a deep breath and put the mobile phone down. No one likes to have their conversations interrupted by texting or calls, and that certainly holds true for hiring managers, with 68 percent saying it's a deal breaker.

"Candidates have to make a great first impression appearance-wise, have a solid understanding of the target company, know exactly how to convey that they're the perfect fit for the job and control their body language," said Rosemary Haefner, CareerBuilder's chief human resources officer.

A S3x toy company created a tiny male Ma5turbation fort in New York City. No, we don't condone it.

On Tuesday, Hot Octopuss erected what it called a "GuyFi" booth on 28th Street and 5th Avenue in New York City, where men could, in theory, go to "relieve stress."

The company simply put a cloth over a phone booth in what amounted to a marketing gimmick. Inside was a chair and a laptop.

Hot Octopuss was inspired by a Time Out survey, which concluded that 39% of the New York men it questioned admitted to Ma5turbating while at work. A more expansive Glamour survey of 1,000 men in 2012 suggested 31% of its readers have done so.

Hot Octopuss created the booth so men can "take this habit out of the office and into a more suitable environment designed to give the busy Manhattan man the privacy, and the high-speed Internet connection, he deserves."

Yesterday, the 18-year old Godwin crooner shared a snippet of a new campaign by the Police force tagged ‘Everyone is a police’ and looked almost unrecognisable in a police uniform with his signature curls covered under a beret. The campaign addresses the need for Nigerians to work collectively to ensure safety in the country and reiterates that the Nigerian Police is not the enemy.
