This is an honest question pls.

Honestly, from my experience of applying to participate as a drug testing volunteer in one of the Western nation I learned alot of lessons, though I pulled out before I could allow them to admister the drug.
1. None of these Western nation will allow any medicine to be sold in their country without being thoroughly tested and approved in their home soil.
2. They have over the counter drugs like Paracetamol, Panadol that you can get from supermarkets, stores etc.
3. They have Pharmacy only Medication that you can only get in Pharmacy with Pharmacy prescribing or allowing you to buy like many antibiotics, Amoxil, ciprofloxacin, Azythromycin etc. .
3. They have Prescription only Medications that can only be gotten through Prescription from an authorised person like Medical Consultant, meds such as Gabapentin, Pregablin, oxycodone etc containing opiods which are strong pain killers. These are well controlled and must not be touched by unauthorised persons. Even this antiviral meds that its just seen here are supposed to be well controlled medicine.

In Nigeria and Africa its common to see all these at open markets sold publicly.

My experience:
The Western nations have these Private Biopharma companies that test the final stage for drugs after several animal model has passed safety test, before its made public for use.
These companies advertise for volunteers to enrol for testing and you will fill various forms and sign. If you are selected then you move into a camp or testing centre. There you are fed while the drug is administered , then blood ,urine or salivar are collected intermittently and analysed, after about two weeks you guys are released and told to come back in two weeks for a follow up.
This follow up can continue for a year until that drug is deemed safe both for your LIVER,KIDNEY,SPLEEN,BONE MARROW before it's been deemed SAFE for public use. After several HUMAN MODEL of that testing has passed safety test. Then it's fit for PUBLIC USE.

I had to withdraw from the test which was to be two weeks because I wasn't sure of the safety though other volunteers participated. The papers you sign up clearly states states the drugs are safe but be aware if any thing happens hmmmm........
So I ran on seeing that clause.

Summary, this experience scares me whenever drugs a flown in to the country that hasn't been satisfactorily tested in Nigeria in any human volunteer model.

The choice is yours, it can be safe...go take. Just my personal opinion.

I once applied to be among drug testing volunteers in a Western country but when I saw what they do they with volunteers I pulled out.

They pay volunteers about 8000 USD a week for being in that camp. I was there ?
In Africa they use the population for free. I think some people in government are paid maybe for this shit in Africa.

Be careful what medication you take into your body, I have been a volunteer in drug testing in the Western world.
