People find it very difficult to take screen snaps/ screen shots on their laptops and desktops, this is because of lack of knowledge. When you lack knowledge, you seem to be doomed in terms of technology. Many also believe that you can’t snap any screen image or text without a software, this is a big lie because this tutorial will show you how to take a screen shot in your laptop, and edit it to your choice

Screen shot is the ability to snap the images/texts that appear in your computer screen at any point/time

In this post i will be showing you two ways to take a screen shot in your computer and they are:

* without any software
* with softwares

HOW DO I TAKE A SCREENSHOT ON MY COMPUTER WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE?

Follow the below steps and you will accomplish your aim:

Step1

when you want to take a screen shot in any computer, just hold the FUNCTION KEY (Fn) and press INSERT (prt sc) button from your keyboard. This will take the screen shot of you computer although you will not notice any change that will show it has captured, just go straight to step 2 to see how to display what you captured.

Step2

CLICK the start button => SELECT ACCESSORIES => SELECT PAINT.

When the paint environment/window opens, press CTRL + V(paste) from the keyboard and you will see exactly the image you have captured. you can now edit the image to your taste.

Step 3

To crop the image/remove unwanted part of the picture, place your cursor on the image, right click and select crop, then select the area you want to save then right click on the area you have selected and click on crop again and you are done save your image by selecting file=> SAVE.

HOW DO I TAKE A SNAP SHOT WITH A COMPUTER SOFTWARE?

We will be using a software called SNIPPING TOOL, this software comes with WINDOWS 7 OS therefore if you are using windows 7 operating system, you will have it in your computer by default.

Step 1

CLICK on start button => SELECT ALL PROGRAMS => ACCESSORIES => SNIPPING TOOL => CROP out the part of the screen you wish to snap and SAVE.

OMG!! i tried this with a 2GB flash drive and it worked like magic, No more snail like movement in your laptop, desktop, palmtop etc…

You can now use your flash drive to speed up your computer no matter how slow or fast you may think your computer is. Back in the days when we were in a hardware class, we were taught that before you could speed up your slow computer, that you have to loose the computer and replace the ram with a higher memory ram, i.e if it does not have a room for double slot.

Today am showing you how you can increase the speed of your very slow system just by attaching a flash drive to your system as if you want to copy a file from a computer.

HOW CAN I SPEED UP MY COMPUTER USING AN EXTERNAL DRIVE[RAM]?

Follow these steps to achieve success:

STEP 1

Get a flash drive of memory not less that 2GB this is because you need a good perfomance therefore you should get a higher memory spaced drive.

NOTE: the higher the Flash memory the more speed you.. as achieve.

Plug the flash in any USB port in your computer, when you do this you will see a prompt that asks you if you want to view files, play music, Use for backup, speed up my computer etc… as shown in the picture below, Select SPEED UP MY COMPUTER. and you almost there.

Another prompt will pop up asking you to select what you want to do, select the last option which is “USE THIS DEVICE” and thats all enjoy good speed on your laptop.
