Its possible to change from a lesser course to a higher one so far its in the same faculty, thats what I'm planning to do,change from pharmacy to mbbs.. As I've enquired, u just have to score up to the gpa for ur proposed course..tho its rare but very possible..all I gotta do in ma first year is hit up to 5 points.

OSHIOMOLE: There may be No cut off for Medical lab science cos its a new course...cos when dey first introduce geology and geophysics dere was no cut-off....but I had 59.something% sha... Am going IN

Idk o but dis cld be true, nursing was introduced into LAG last year also but didnt av any cut off,a friend was given pharmacy in its place. This year cld be different tho nd I pray it does cos I see people goin for that course r quite much here.

ur course isnt dat competitive,few ppl I knw dat applied for dat course didnt make it above 60 and I wonder why many of them are girls. I think u had a gud score,so I wldnt be too worried if I were u.

lolz we'r frm planet earth jst like you..see,we started out since december for jamb tutorial then studied like we were gonna die for d postjamb. Seriously,i think d maths nd eng shldnt be anyone's prob in those questions but the current affairs which were damn hot..we saw it comin and dnt be surprised when i say current affairs was d only stuff we read for the exam. In ma opinion, the right time we shld av jam packed dis thread for info on hw the exam is gonna look like was b4 the exam,not now.

met with some friends today and one f them had 75.78% for URP and i was like damn!!!minus 20 from that and he'd still be topping the merit list. Tho d guy is very gud and if not for chemistry dat he didnt av in his waec,he wanted to study mech eng. Cut off comin out today Me no fink so.

ogagusps3: K... I acctually signed up on nairaland in 2008...I got 69.25 agg for MED and SURG...I'm from delta state so no hope for any advantages... I just hope I beat the cut off...

k. I think I shld tell u this. Last yr i put in for med nd surg,had 69 like u nd was damn happy cos it was d merit cut off for mbbs in 2010 but wen d cut off came out i was shocked to see 76,then i realised many ppl must av passed. Thats wat made me put in for pharmacy dis year..but here is d good news... The cut offs are gonna shape back to like it were in 2010 nd years b4, so dont be scared evrytin will work out fine..just have faith.

62 is the highest i av seen,evry other person i knw had scores frm 40-55,i think ppl didnt do well for that course.

I knew I shld av state b4 that persons with those marks are ma friends. And most of the info i get are from reliable source,not the web. Sincerely,ppl above 70 arent much cos of the poor general jamb performance

vicksbaba: i just heard that the cutoff marks for most departments in colledge of medicine will have very slight mark differences......and please no nairalander should lie about there scores, i don't know why some people act so pussilanimously. If you are a coward and you can't say your score, then do not lie about it.......wat d f**k.....i got an info that nobody scored above 73 in colledge of medicine, consisting of both medicine and surgery, physiotherapy, micro biology, pharmacy, and the rest. Those that have 70 to 73 are so minute. So why is it that one Id**t told me he scored 80%

dude I've got friends with 72,74 and 75 for pharmacy and I wld av been on that league if only i had a high jamb score,well I'm still happy with ma 71 so stop coming here to give us wrong info.
