I've been watching Videos of Kounde. I think he's really good, but the videos all seem cherry-picked

Pep actually wanted the guy over Dias last season. Hopefully that counts for something. I like that he's good at retaining and progressing the ball and would fit in a possession based system. He's also one for the future; a long term buy. I would pick him a million times over Varane

Negatives - As being mentioned, he looks quite small as a CB, Not so sure about his tackles too. He also seems like someone who needs a good partner to bring out his best - all that overlapping

France controlled Germany not the other way around. They gave the Germans the ball knowing that they could not do anything with it. Germany had only one shot on target in the entire match which came from a Rudiger nodding sef. German forwards didn't see space to even breathe....meanwhile the same France scored 3 goals, and with a different ref that game would have been a massacre.

Pogba was running around throwing passes, doing skills and bullying Germans, so much that he was the official man of the match.

Its not about pressing them from the beginning, the game is about to finish so it is wise to sub in a player and that player shouldn’t be a striker when you already leading and playing against Germany.
