Guys, I want to authenticate and legalise my documents for my studies in Spain. Could someone please guide me through the process?
I need clear information on what is required. authentication, translation, and legalisation, which comes first, and whether I’m expected to submit the originals or photocopies.
I would really appreciate your input.

I’ve actually gone through the document authentication and legalisation process for international studies before, so I understand how confusing it can be at first. I’d be happy to guide you step-by-step on the correct order — authentication, translation, and legalisation — as well as clarify whether originals or certified copies are required.
If you’d like proper guidance to avoid mistakes or delays, feel free to message me directly and I’ll walk you through the process clearly.

Hello

labasulla:
Good people of God,

I need all the support and responses I can get please and thank you.

My lil sis have 2.2 in Business Education, she had initially applied for a visit visa in 2024 and was denied Jan 2025. Currently, she gained admission to study Disability Profession at Saskpoly she have some certification from Alison on this course as well. Currently, working at a clinic as part time support worker

Tuition fee :CAD 20,400
Deposit of CAD 5,300 made

Tuition Balance: CAD 15,100
Living Expenses: CAD 22,895
Misc expenses : CAD 3,000

Total : CAD 40,995 x N998 = N40,913,010 using oanda rate as of today.

Question 1) This is what we need as proof of funds, right?

She has a business and personnal account with sum of N16m Our elder sis has been catering for her since our mom passed away, she made the tuition deposit for her, and she wants to send her about N24m to her account this is going to be a lump sum but we will back it up with letter and affidavit (deed of gift), reason is we don't want the VO to think she doesn't have access to the fund.

My elder sister will also be providing her personnal and business account which will show how the payment was made to her account

Question 2) Does all of these looking convincing?

Question 3) Are upfront medical still required for study permit?

Question 4) Does she need to use GCKEY for study permit or she can use the new portal she used when she applied for visit visa?

Question 5) Study permit and Coop work permit, how do we apply for this together?

Reason for last rejection - Financial grounds - No enough funds on her own. Then it was elder's sister account mainly.

Home tie -

a) Business in Nigeria, - CAC, proof of invoice, tax clearance
b) Her current part time job, career advancement after completion of school
c) In charge of Mom's house
d) Fiance in Nigeria
e) Father in Nigeria
f) Siblings, Nephews
g) providing affidavit of return

Thanks.

Yes, CAD 40,995 is the correct and sufficient proof of funds, and it is well calculated to cover tuition, living, and miscellaneous expenses.
Yes, the funding structure is convincing, especially with her own 16m, the 24m gift supported by deed of gift, affidavit, sponsorship letter, proof of relationship, and the elder sister’s bank statements showing source of funds.
Yes, upfront medicals are still strongly recommended, as they improve processing speed and strengthen the application.
She should use the new IRCC portal, especially since she used it previously for her visit visa application.
She can apply for the study permit and co-op work permit together in one application by selecting that her program includes mandatory work placement and uploading the school’s co-op letter.
With strong finances, clear home ties, good SOP, and proper documentation, her application will be much stronger than the previous one and highly competitive. I just sent you an email

Is it advisable for someone at age 40 to pursue a trade or enroll in an accelerated two-year nursing program?
This person has already applied for permanent residence through the Non-Express Entry stream. They have a background in IT, specifically in Network Security, and have also studied AI and Data Analytics. However, they are currently not working in their IT field due to their PR situation.
They are now considering a long-term career change into a field that will remain stable and sustainable for the next 20 to 25 years. One concern is the two-year waiting period for PR, which makes returning to IT less appealing at the moment.
They would appreciate any advice on which path—trades or nursing—might be the better option in terms of job security, career longevity, and overall practicality at this stage of life.

Thank you.

At 40, it’s not too late to switch careers, but the decision should focus on long-term stability, job security, and sustainability. Between trades and nursing, nursing offers stronger job security, better immigration advantage, and more stable income over the next 20–30 years. Trades can provide faster income, but they are physically demanding and harder to sustain long-term, especially as one gets older. Given your strong IT background, nursing also allows future transition into healthcare IT, health informatics, or data analytics, combining both skills. This creates higher earning potential and less physical strain later in life. Overall, an accelerated nursing program appears to be the more practical and future-proof choice in your situation.
