I have enjoyed using Xioami Mi Series from MI 9T to my current MI 11 Lite . Superb phone . Never had issues with any.

Currently torn between Poco F6 and MI 11 Ultra and a Samsung A Series as well. I am a bit skeptical about Mi 11 Ultra cos it was released in 2021.

Please which one should I go for.

Don't really fancy Redmi phone.

My Note 7 served me very well but the Redmi 8 I bought for my wife died within 9 months. I saw the fresh looking phone this morning and I became annoyed again

Redmi 8 and 8a were overall not really great phones, they were basically not meant to last long but you don't use that as a basis to judge others.

The Samsung is more future proof cause you're sure of at least 3 android updates while I believe you'll get a higher storage and RAM Xiaomi at around same price range. You should now check what is more important to you within those two

When I was getting a new TV and was cash strapped I already knew that there was no way I could get a Samsung/LG/Sony TV that'll be as good as their Hisense/TCL counterparts at the same price range.

I delved so deep into TV specs and reviews eehh because I believe in always getting the very best for any amount I'm willing to spend. I ended up getting TCL 645k QLED TV then cause it had more features than it's Hisense counterparts and there were definitely none of the higher end ones that come close to it at that price range.

It's not even about specs and paper shit.

I'm telling you I physically compared both of these TV's in person in the showroom.

Both sound and picture quality, the Samsung beat am hands down

The Samsung has a full range 20w speaker, the speakers be sounding like a sound bar with bass.
Abeg Samsung and Hisense no be mate.

The Hisense A7G is even a QLED TV and there is no way in this life and the next that a 2018 basic Samsung TV will be better than it.

It's either the screen of the Hisense has been changed, it has some other underlying problems or you had already positioned your mind that the Samsung will be better

When I went to Alaba international, got to the showroom and saw side by side the picture quality and sound quality of a Samsung and Hisense TV. Note both was 43", both was Smart TVs, the Hisense was 4k while the Samsung was 1080p.

The sound quality and picture quality on the Samsung made me go home with it, and both were of same price.

Where are they selling Samsung 1080p TVs now ?
What are their individual model numbers let me check for myself.

But even with those videos playing,you can tell the difference in contrast and sharpness btwn a Samsung,lg, and hisense,bruhm,it's always day and night,

Except they played it on the Hisense for you only.

Also except you view HD channels, which not many data stations shows,

I think you are good.

There's a lot of stuff to consider though, TVs just like phones range from budget to midrange, upper midrange, flagship killer and flagship.

You can't get a basic budget Hisense and expect it to be as good as a Samsung, LG and Sony TV.

The highest Hisense TV released in Nigeria for now is the U8K/U7K and that's a mini LED. If you compare that to those Samsung/LG OLED TVs in show rooms you'll obviously be very disappointed but comparing the Hisense with a Samsung in the same price range you'll see the Hisense will most likely be better.
