EducationRe: Funny Courses Offered By Nigerian Universities by MERS(m): 8:14am On Nov 01, 2014
I assume that the basic premise of the OP is the income generating potential of these funny courses and I don't think that makes the OP very wrong.
Some have argued that the ones who study these funny courses go on to make boatloads of cash, enough to employ those who study the mainstream courses. What percentage are we talking about?
The truth is that while these courses are not funny, the society we are in is not developed enough to appreciate their values. Gradually the system will evolve to pay each of these disciplines their dues, but some of them are not surefire employment magnets. And we know that more people will seek employment than go into entrepreneurship. And that is taking of the immediate.

I will use Physiology as an example.
In a system where medicine and surgery is sitting atop what should be a multidisciplinary plateau, the basic sciences find no relevance except in the academia. And with an increasing number of schools offering the course, how many of them will find employment in the academics? What happens to the rest who should be working in research facilities and so on? Nothing! They mix up with the crowd and lose their identities as physiologists or move abroad. I have 2 friends who are testimonies. One is a doctor, the other studying for physiotherapy.
It is not these courses we should be laughing at, it is our society. And we should stop laughing and making noises. Angry noises. They are destroying the future of our society by eroding the foundations on which we can build development. You know am talking about politicians

I broke up with my girlfriend her parents married her to their family friends son that resides in Canada. though, i've moved on but each time I remember it hurts like its fresh
She married the guy. Your love for her is why you said they married her off. The day u realize she did it is when the hurt starts healing.
I av been there too.
RomanceRe: My Fiancee Nag Alot And Im Tired Of Her by MERS(m): 7:47am On Oct 17, 2014
OP, people come on here and try to sound politically correct, telling you about supposed right and wrong. The truth however is not subject to opinions, it stands forever unchanged.
Woman nag, but some women have taken it to frustrating levels. Trust me, I know.
If you think her nagging is causing you aches now, and she is not the one you come home to every night, imagine how it will be when u wake up and end the day with her everyday. Will you be able to live at peace? If yes, stick to her, it is only nagging. If your answer however is no, swerve. You are looking at a potential source of unhappiness in your marriage.

PoliticsRe: "Horn Free Day": Lagosians, What's The Situation Report At Your Place? by MERS(m): 8:51am On Oct 15, 2014
The whole idea is an inane fantasy of bureaucrats who spend all day riding to work behind newspapers. Anyone who drives in Lagos will canvas for everything else but a horn-free day.
PoliticsRe: THE TRUE FACE OF THE NORTH by MERS(m): 7:38pm On Oct 12, 2014
That2:
The north is very big. The population are not nucleated unlike in places like Lagos. Although it may be different in places like Kano and Kaduna. Timing also matters like Ibnsultan said above.
A very simplistic explanation IMO. Lagos is not in any way nucleated as you would want to believe. Lagos is densely populated, and that across all of the state.
Christianity EtcRe: Dreams Interpretation! Dreams Interpretation!! Dreams Interpretation!!! by MERS(m): 6:47pm On Sep 09, 2014
I had this dream.
I saw the girl I was dating in bed with another man. She was enjoying the whole act and seemed very happy. It also appeared there was another guy by the bed. Moreover, I felt I was nude in the dream. After some time, the guy appeared to ditch her off the bed and she came back begging me to forgive and take her back. I was so pained in the dream but woke up before I could say anything to her.

She is now married and we separated in a very painful manner. The dream still bothers me however.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Chris Dont Know The Bible... by MERS(m): 6:29pm On Sep 09, 2014
Peter had a wife, and a mother in law who was mentioned sick in one of the gospels. Jesus healed her - he still heals by the way.

Get your facts right before you think to kick a man who is kinda down.
RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Is Cheating Wit My Sister: Need Advice.help B4 I Commit Murder by MERS(m): 1:26pm On Aug 15, 2014
Smilenw: Send him a text( he doesn't even deserve to be  informed in person) ASAP saying you have lost your interest in him n his performance wink

Also if it is going to give you any peace of mind, tell him you have been cheating on him with one of his friends for quite some time (don't disclose any names, let him keep guessing)

As for your sister, be normal with her and tell her you dumped the guy because you suspected he was HIV+  tongue
So evil I love it. Babe, remind me never to piss you off o.
