I am worried how opposition no longer influence the government of the day to do the right thing. It was better when APC was in opposition.
Politics › Re: A Presidential Chat Long On Promises - Punch Editorial by micflo28(m): 7:47am On Dec 26, 2024
One thing is Certain, Be it Obi or Atiku, the general disposition of anybody that gets to that position is seeming failure lurking caused by the persons environmental factor. A president should stop appointing people more powerful than he is or as powerful as he is to ensure total dominance to be able to run governance to the best of his conscience. Rolling with People who had been in the corridors of power are recipe for cabal formation and subsequent failure
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Media Chat Lacks Humanity, Says Bode George by micflo28(m): 12:40pm On Dec 25, 2024
That thing was more or less a family chat. It lacked empathy on the present situation. The chat should have swelled entirely on the failing Economy. Detailed steps to revive it and all. It was empty and shallow. Congrats to all who survived through this year, we go again next year.

Na tradition now

The issue with it is, the same year that started 11 months ago, but some sone people are just remembering of it ending this month
Some put in their best, just that things weren't adding up. Have it in mind that it's almost impossible to save to be rich as things have gone beyond affordable. People are just hustling to eat and pay bills this period.
Politics › Re: Rufai Oseni Faults Tinubu’s Media Chat (Video) by micflo28(m): 1:15am On Dec 25, 2024
Rufai should blame the interviewing panelists headed by Abati. The questions looked like screened questions aimed at not embarrassing Mr. President. They did not represent the curiosities of Nigerians. His answers showed he had no awareness of the sufferings of Nigerians. He had no reason whatever to make comparisons over the recent stampedes. I expected that he should admit of the pervading hunger and objectively state his plans for the coming year. And possibly announce some compensations for the families of the deceased to show alignment with their pain. It was his golden moment to put forward his plans to reduce hunger, grow the economy and ensure wealth is redistributed more evenly. His policies have for too long caused enough devastation and gained a lot of money for proper government people centered policies. I expected to hear how much has been recorded from subsidy removal this far and how those monies are being put to use. How they are using monies from recovered loots, electricity subsidy removal, Tertiary tuition increments and so on. The disillusioned media chat is just a charade. Companies that have left the shores of Nigeria what is been done to bring them and more of others back. They left on the account of the ride economic shocks.

Igbos should stop dragging who doesn't need them. Their oil rich region is not equivalent to the amount of wealth flowing from Anambra state alone. Igbo's should develop their region and let these history botched people be.

Parents should stop giving birth more than they can cater for. Someone is earning 70k and has five children. At the end, you join those condemning government. Government though has not done much to create policies that have direct bearing on the people, But the people must also assist themselves.

Out of the 242bn of Lagos, MTN alone has 200bn according to FIRS

I hope everyone can see that parasites cuts across regions where VAT is concerned

Anyways, where is FCT?
FCT was granted autonomy from remitting VAT to FG so they own and determine their own VAT.

Abia state should be the highest after Lagos if this ipob miscreants will allow peace to reign in that region. I am disappointed at Kogi with all their mineral deposits.

Haven't you heard of Love Scam before? Is it only onyibos that have the right to enjoy it when it comes up? Your authorities pursue the guy vigorously because she is an onyibos. Bro. This is same as Love Scam and can be prosecuted.

According to what law/statute, is this refund to be issued? Or was the money a loan? undecided
There is what you call a social contract. They are unwritten agreements from virtue of relationship with that person or persons. They are admissible in court to pursue refunds. If her has receipts and debit alerts of Tuition fees paid, that's all he needs to win flawlessly. It's the same as Love Scam, Efcc follows up, recovers money and still procure court penalties for the scammer in question
