Submit documents before going for biometrics.

Priority service possible chance for early decision or feedback but not guaranteed. Standard might take longer but depends on one’s circumstances.
Thanks Boss, if I have been working in a place for 3 years since graduation which i hav also included in my CV, do I need to include a reference letter from my Boss with cover letter also or till I'm asked??
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by Midoskibal: 10:11am On Jun 18
Please guys i have two questions

1. Can one submit documents before going for biometrics or you have to do biometrics first?

2. Is it necessary to pay for priority visa or you can do standard and get your decision within a month?

I got this mail from ukvi what should I do
The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information.

Please provide the following documents:

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2021.

I can see that you have sent a letter from your employment, but if you can please give more information:
What is your job role?
How long have you worked there for?

Please also provide Payslips and bank statements with regular salary being deposited.

Your documents do not need to cover the entirety of the period referred to, but should be reflective of what you have done during this time. The decision maker will use this information to consider whether you meet the genuine student requirement of the Immigration Rules. If we have further questions, we may ask you to attend an interview, if you do not have any official documents, please provide a brief summary of why.
Is it normal for ukvi to always ask for payment slips and bank statements? Or only if there was a large deposit in the submitted bank statement for visa application and the person probably stated he/she is funding theirself personally through their savings or work?

UKVI will not approve substandard places for test
That's not what I meant, I meant like you might go to a centre and maybe there's always a long queue or maybe it takes a centre more time to process your results. Stuffs like that

Hello Everyone

If your course is for 18 months, does your pof have to be for 18 months? Or just the standard 9 months?

Hello Everyone

Has we have a lot of cases of people with standard visa application still not getting a response after more than 6 weeks of application/no response. If one applied for priority visa, is he/she guaranteed to have a faster response or there are people that also have delayed response with that?

Then how much is the standard student visa application fee? And how much is for priority visa?

Does applying through an agency help with how fast you get your decision?

CSSPATRICK:
Did you ask him the documents submitted. And whether he has any previous visa refusals or study years gap. And also if he completed the visa application himself or through an agent

Thank you very much for this

damidam:
quote]I am sure someone must have answered your question but I would drop my one cent. When choosing schools to attend in the UK, what should be an important factor when picking a school is the job opportunities in the city your school is located and when I say jobs I mean student jobs that would help get you through school. Unfortunately, no employer cares about about your masters or the ranking of your school. What they care about is your experience and relevant professional qualifications in your field. The experience and the PQ is what would make you stand out in the crowd which would eventually lead to you getting a big salary and sponsorship. I really wish everyone coming from Sept 2025 the best, the immigration laws aren't favouring immigrants but we Nigerians would always find our way, lol. It might all gloomy at first but don't worry it would become clear eventually. Be consistent, pray and be active in communities. You can't do it alone!! Best wishes everyone cheesy

Hey guys, I want to apply to Wrexham University, asides the fact that their tuition is affordable, they also offer advanced practice for my program. The issue (not sure it's an issue yet anyways) now is they are a really low ranked university. My question is will it matter when trying to get jobs?
I'm just spitballing but maybe employers would have reservations about giving jobs (skilled worker's visa) to graduates from such universities??...
Then also, I'll appreciate any other review about the university

Thank you very much

Fred2020:
I’d advise you to strongly consider pursuing a master’s degree in a field that aligns with your marketable experience.

Skilled visa-eligible roles typically require a certain level of experience, and policy trends are moving toward limiting entry-level or below-graduate roles for new immigrants.

If your long-term plan is to secure residency through the skilled worker pathway, it’s worth reflecting carefully on this.

There are immigrants who have secured visa sponsorships in roles such as chefs, while others with master’s degrees in high-demand fields like cybersecurity have still struggled to find employment.

Thank you very much bro. Your response really helped.

Emmanuelowems:
If your main aim is job security and Skilled Worker sponsorship, then GIS & Remote Sensing or Environmental Data Science would be your top picks. They combine your background with high-demand technical skills. Environmental Management can also work, but the more technical your skillset, the better your chances.
As for the area that are affordable,in terms of location I will say Scotland has cheaper living expenses but generally just avoid central London

There are several university in the uk with cheks tuition fees e.g

York St. John university
Teeside university e.t.c I hope this helps

Hi everyone,

Please I need advice.
So I did forestry and wildlife as an undergraduate. But i heard its not really compulsory you do something related to your undergrad though I'll prefer to.

So i searched for high demand courses (degrees with the very high possibilities of securing a job in the uk related to my course of study and some courses popped out). E.g

*Environmental Management

*Geographic Information Systems (GIS) & Remote Sensing

*Environmental Data Science / Climate Change

*Sustainable Forestry / Forest Management

*Conservation with Policy & Management

What I need your advices on are;
1. If you think I should go for any of those courses or you have better suggestions as regards high chances of securing a skilled worker's visa with a relatively well paying job because I heard it can be hard to do that.

2. Going to an affordable university, particularly in areas with low/affordable cost of living plus where part time jobs can be easily gotten because I heard that can also be another struggle.

Any other suggestions/advice will be really appreciated🙏🏽

Thanks in advance for your help.

September 1st is d deadline for you accepting that offer, you can accept now and start your enrollment on time before your interview date, or have u not gotten AND?
vffur45:
Yes, in 2025, your affidavit must come from a high court with it's new letterhead. The old version typed out on an A4 would be rejected. Either of your parents or the head of your family would go along with you with a government issued ID card (NIN, voters card also acceptable) to get it done.

Whoever signs your affidavit is whose details you would go with to the embassy for your interview.

If one of your parents deposed your declaration of age, you'll bring an ID containing the deponent's signature along with you to the visa interview.

Or

If your declaration of age was sworn by anyone who stands as the head of your family, you'll attend the visa interview with an ID showing their signature, AND (1) death certificate or (2) letter of illiteracy from one of your parents.

Someone has to depose your declaration of age at a high court, and it can't be you.
Hello please for some who has little discrepancies on his name. Will affidavit from magistrate court suffice?

And is that all he'll need?

Hi guys
I have two questions.
1. Can someone whose first class is 2 years 6months still have a shot at A list?.

2. Has anyone ever gotten a sperrfreigabe from the German embassy after mailing them?

How long did it take?

Or is going there better, to get a faster response?
