I believe in Iran's version of the story because many of the rescue team were injured.

If the planes weren't shot down, how come the crew members were injured??

They have built this myth of invisibility around their military and more especially, around their pilots. So capturing their soldiers easily breaks that myth. It's the same reason they never admit Iran shot down their aircrafts.

It's the same thing with Israel and even Ukraine at the beginning of the war. One of the most effective tactics Hezbollah uses to increase Israeli casualties is to ambush an Israeli unit, and then lay another ambush for the Israeli units that attempt to rescue them. They then lay a third ambush for the rescuers that come to rescue the rescuers.

Iran didn't shoot those down, even Aljazeera reported just a while ago that the same helos were amongst the search party looking for one more pilot as both Iran and US race up to find the missing pilot. I don't know where you get your own news.

Lastly, your media is lying to you. The plane was shot down and fell inside Iran, and not in Iraq.

As for the part about the pilot being rescued, I haven’t seen any rumors or evidence of that, but time shall tell. As usual, time is the greatest enemy of the liars you support.

I think blowing up the bridge is a military setup to cut off the place they want to invade from other part of the country so as to stave off reinforcement when they attack.
The same pattern was used in Lebanon to cutoff most Hezbollahs fighters from the southern part.
