sunnyb0b0: Northerners ti take over. The appointment of a Northerner as the GOC of the newly formed 8th Division should not cause a ruckus. What I find intresting is that Borno State alone now has two Divisions of the Nigerian Army. 7th Div at Maiduguri and 8th Div at Lake Chad. This is expectedly so because of the current counter insurgency operation going on in that theatre. What this also means is that Borno is now the first state in Nigeria that has a combined Military units with the strength of an Army Corps |

We are not all Biafrans. Biafra belong the Igbos alone. Very soon, the Igbos would get the independent Biafra country they so much desire, and when that happens, all Igbos would go back to Igboland. 4 Likes |

omenka: Ok. Bayelsa is an oil producing state, your state for that matter, and is owing 5months salaries. Can we then say, using your logic in reverse, that is proof true federalism can't work in Nigeria Mr Obamanikoro Bruce Lee??
Remember, in logic, if a statement is FACT or TRUE, then it means the "negative statement" and the "reverse outcome" would also be a FACT or TRUE. - GST 107. BMB Logic 101 * Charity begins outside not at home so therefore my own state can also owe workers salary but I dont care. *''True'' Federalsim is good for non-Oil producing state but ''False'' Federalism is good for Oil producing state *National issues such as Federalism and Restructuring is better discussed on twitter rather than on the floor of the Senate |
