it is not paying them entirely, if you want your profile to be pushed to front page when clients search for freelancers you have to do that with connects.

I'm a rising talent on Upwork on my way to a top rated freelancer. You use money to get money on Upwork.

But these days, I just get interview invites from potential clients...the work I'm currently doing for a client now, I got it without spending a single connect.

I didn't go into full stack web/mobile app development to be hired by Nigerian companies...I wentninto it to be landing gigs on Upwork and other freelancing sites
