I'm just wondering he once mentioned a while ago that he overstayed for 9 months - I do not know about this whole thing and the way it works but I know the application is being delayed because he overstayed a while ago and you mentioned it yourself that the someone said you would probably get a year ban. Like I said - I do not know about this but just give them time to go through the application. P.S: The Internet never forgets. You asked the question below a while ago

@gg4real - Hello Gurus in the house, I had a two years UK visa which has expired. I used this visa twice and on the last occassion, i mistakenly over stay for a period of 9months and at the point of exit, the officer told me that I will only be given a punishment of 1yrs ban but I have not apply since my return two years ago.

My question now is that If I apply now, is there possibility that I will be given the punishment now or it has already pass since I havent apply since two years ago. Also, if I apply, do I stand any chance of getting the visa again?"

Evidence of employment, salary account, 6 months payslips, leave letter and other investment you may have.

Your friend has to send proof of accommodation, invitation letter, data page of his passport, his bank statement and payslips

@justwise I do not have other investment - Is this really important?. Also, I work on a UK Aid project in Nigeria. I hope this would be enough?

Dear Justwise and other wonderful people,

Please I need your kind advise.

I have been to the Uk on tier 4 visa and left immediately I finished my masters. I didn't overstay or have any criminal record! Lol...(I'm not sure you will still remember me but you helped me with process for tier 4)

Now I want to return to the Uk to visit my friends and do a bit of sightseeing on what have missed. I currently work and my salary is about £1300 monthly. It is a contract job finishing 2022.

I would also be staying with my friend who is British-Nigerian during my 14days holiday.

Justwise could you please kindly advise on what I should include in application. I know a list should be somewhere in the thread but with my tiny little phone going through the thread is no easy task.
