Like I don't get it.

They have both decided not to openly admit whatever it is they have going on, even though we see it. But Kidd is the player, bad guy, flirt because he says he doesn't know if he has feelings yet...

He was under no obligation to have to have replied Ebuka with a 'Yes' or "No' while being on the spot, especially when Erica had just admitted that he and Laycon are her friends before she upgraded it to special friend/Bestie.
