Glo Offers Bumper New Year Gift To Data Subscribers, The Next generation telecom service provider, Globacom, has launched a new bonus data offer for its teeming subscribers.
The new offer, aptly called Bumper Data Offer, gives six gigabytes of data for only N3,000 subscription, with a validity period of one month.

Globacom’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr Ashok Israni, who announced the new offering, said that the N3,000 subscription previously offered just 4.5GB data.

To connect to the Bumper Data Offer, he explained that all the subscriber has to do is to dial *777# and follow the interactive SMS prompt.

Globacom said that the offer was being given at this time to encourage subscribers to keep browsing after the yuletide and festive seasons.

He said, and I quote “We know that our subscribers must have spent a lot of money during the yuletide season. As the New Year begins, we are giving more for less to our valued subscribers to keep them connected on the internet,” he explained.

According to Israni, the attraction in the new package is not just the huge extra 1.5GB data, but also the super fast Data capacity.

“The Bumper Data Offer rides on Globacom’s huge data infrastructure backed by the high capacity Glo 1 submarine cable, which brings direct connectivity between West Africa, the UK and the rest of the world. The facility provides much faster and more robust connectivity for voice, data and video.”

Don't forget that Globacom had also recently launched the Twin Bash offer which gives subscribers bonus voice airtime for every data subscription. Twin Bash gives a subscriber who recharges with N200, up to 200 MB of data worth N800, another N200 airtime to call or send SMS to any network and N200 airtime to call 10 friends and family. The subscriber will, therefore, get N1,200 value for a data recharge of N200.

“The Bumper Data offer is, therefore, the icing on the cake following the unprecedented Twin Bash gift to Glo subscribers”, Israni said.

Everything in life has his life span, these are commonly used as the expiration date on most of our purchased items. As the manufactured date has always been batched on products so was the expiration date. Even we the living being have our time.

Just a few days ago I bought some sim cards, I registered it from that seller who markets with a bus, and to my surprise, the sims ceased to work after some days of usage. I went to that network products main office in my area, it was there that I was told that my sims are already expiring. That was when I realized that buying a cheap sim as it own risk, buying from an unauthorized dealer is another and the most annoying of it is to registered and to be re-invited to come and register the sim card again.
