Military reserve system works like NYSC except that every adult of age get trained on self defence and how to handle fire arms, in case of insurgency or terrorism the Government calls you to serve your country and defend your people.

This doesn't mean you are fully enlisted but you are recruited as back up and reserve ready for combat when drafted
