Cremation is definitely better for everyone involved. From the corpse to the coroner to the ecosystem. Why don't people get this? Imma have to put it in my will. No funny business.
I agree with you, a Governor in Nigeria once proposed cremation as a state law but religious bodies and many other pressure groups protested against it. He had to back down.

It was a long story but he lived for another yr before he died again..my aunt was there in morgue who witnessed everything.

Indeed, it's hard to be an embalmer...difficult job..it's like killing the person who is dead already sad
People die everyday, and i'm really thinking of buying land/housei setting up a mortuary/embalment center because n Nigeria nobody will rent out his building to be used as a morgue. lol

Not a superstition...I meant those who hasnt embalmed yet..like my grand father (may his soul rest in peace)... he woke up after 6hrs declared his clinically dead.
Seriously huh, you really saw him wake up or your people told you?

Anyway, funeral/ mortuary services are very lucrative chiefly because very few people can stomach the job.

You've said it. The job's too emotionally demanding.

People die every single day. It is always a tragedy, but it is also part of life. What do you think happens to those dead bodies? It would be gross if they just piled up in the streets, right? That is why the world has embalmers.

Embalmers have a physically hard, emotional job. They work in well-ventilated, isolated, sanitary locations – often in funeral homes, hospitals, medical schools, or morgues. You can apply directly to these places to find work. Your only company while you’re at work is you and the corpse. Depending on where you work, you may have different daily tasks. In hospitals, morgues, and med schools you may just need to preserve and disinfect bodies, possibly preparing cadavers for medical school students.

Embalming is the preparation of dead bodies for burial by preserving human remains. It is not the type of job that many people ever consider. You have to be very comfortable around dead bodies and have a very positive attitude about death. (Jobmonkey, 2015)

Many embalmers go on to become funeral directors. Funeral/ mortuary workers may need to earn a 2-year associate certificate/diploma/degree with hands-on experience to qualify as professionals in their field. Would you attend a mortuary science/funeral school?
