backordered domain is simple.

When you register a domain name for 1 year duration. If by end of that 1 year you do not renew it, you would be alerted to renew. If however, you do not renew it and it is about to drop, I can place a back order if the name is very good.

Backorder is an auto registration method wherein you get hold of name before anyone does. It is often used for names that is very good and such names are rarely allowed to drop for safety reasons.

For instance EstateSoftware.com is a very good name and I knew that fact. I had to place a backorder because if I waited for it to drop, I will lose the chance of owning it.

True to my prediction, someone else placed a backorder for the same.

This brings us to the second part.

If you use Company A to backorder a name and I also use company A to back order same name, when Company A auto catch the name, you and i will be thrown into a bidding war for 3 days. The highest bidder will take the name.

That's how it works.
Will I get a refund if owner renews it?
And what is the difference btw Pre-release and Pending Delete?
Thanks.

Helo,
i registered this domain sice last 10 month, i want to sell it now on flippa or sedo pls gurus ind house help me estimate dis
DAILYFOODTIPS.COM
I'm no expert but the little I can say is it looks good
for a blog. Either for a cook freak or an affiliate marketer ranking for some keywords.
it could be worth anywhere from $50 to $200

but if you could have the time yourself to develop it fully, rank for some keywords and embed it with many of your affiliate links, get consistent traffic and sales in
4-6 months, it will be a good 4 digit flip at Flippa.

No, you get paid through Paypal or domiciliary account. Only refunds can be credited back to your credit card.
Thank you.
But I cant seem to find option to integrate Paypal.
It's like they want my full bank details.
It's not like flippa where you only include just the Paypal email
and you get LEGALWEALTH to claim it for you.

I'm I doing anything wrong?

Do people really say "I want to buy precious stones"? I'm sure they just say 'gold' or 'diamond.' The search volume for 'gold' is close to 100 times the search volume of 'precious stones' while 'diamonds' is over 10 times in search volume.

I agree with your appraisal sha.
thanks so much oladayo042. missed u boss.
I don't think what people say matters sometimes.
for instance buypreciousmetals.com
sold for $2688 on march 14, 2012.
I've never heard pple say
"I want to buy precious metals".
I think what matters is the tittle fully describes what the site is about.

I'm not arguing sha. I will listen to what my bosses
tell me.
cheers!

What I mean is this; Your domain is crap(no offense), if U registered it less than 7days ago, I'm advising You to cancel it and ask for a refund from godaddy.
Why? Because the domain is crap.
Goodsfromchina is also crap, anybdy can list any domain for any amount.
I can decide to list chibenze2sexitools.com for $2000000000, that doesn't mean its worth half kobo.
Chibenze has said this alot; go to namepros n read, the more You read, the more You make smart decisions.

For accounting sake, most auction companies can not keep your money after a sale because they have to clear their books.

Those .club domains that sold for nice figures were reserved and sold by the registry and you can be sure that they reserved the best for themself. I will advise you to stick to .com. 50inda .club was a promotional by 50 Cent. It is not as if 50 liked .club so well. He did it for the money and to make people like you think it is "kinda cool for exclusive people."

Stick to GoDaddy, at least for the coupons sake. Ebooks are written at a point in time and things change all the time. In fact, Moniker is the worst registrar anyone can use at this point in time. A lot of domain thefts going on there right now.
thanks so much for the response Oladayo042

@Oladayo042, thanks so much for answering my previous questions. I love you. No Homo. LOL.
Now I want to ask some more qstns pls.
When u auction and a buyer makes a purchase, can the money be temporarily in ur flippa/afternic account and u withdraw with which ever means later?
I mean just like Fiverr?
And I saw some .club domains sell well like
black. club- $10,000
Russia.club -$10,000
talk.club- $10,000
Chinese.club- $13,750
toys.club- $12,500
meet.club- $12,500
Dotclub domains are kinda cool for exclusive people.
in fact 50cent has registered 50inda.club
so I stumbled on some cool ones still available but not convinced if I should go ahead and register them coz in still new in this stuff.
also are the other registrars that have coupon codes like Godaddy?
cos I read an ebook that said premium domains are not safe with Godaddy that Fabulous and Moniker are better but they are very costly.
forgive my numerous qstns and pls help me answer them accordingly.
thanks guys. one love

TV/MoviesMan Falls In Love With a Robot by morett(op):
Well, not exactly... Man falls in love with artificial intelligence operating system. Artificial intelligence operating system falls in love with man. Sounds strange eh? But this trailer looks sensitive, warm, and not as creepy as it appears to be. Joaquin Phoenix is the perfect candidate for this role and oozes a natural odd-ball-esque character. From Spike Jonze, director of Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, and Where The Wild Things Are, I think this film is going to be pretty touching and an insightful look into the influence of modern technology on the intimate aspects of our lives.

Set in the Los Angeles of the slight future, “Her” follows Theodore Twombly, a complex, soulful man who makes his living writing touching, personal letters for other people. Heartbroken after the end of a long relationship, he becomes intrigued with a new, advanced operating system, which promises to be an intuitive entity in its own right, individual to each user. Upon initiating it, he is delighted to meet “Samantha,” a bright, female voice, who is insightful, sensitive and surprisingly funny. As her needs and desires grow, in tandem with his own, their friendship deepens into an eventual love for each other.

Hmm... Quite amazing! What do you guys think?

Science/TechnologyJapan Wants To Build Solar Plant On Moon And Beam Energy Back To Earth by morett(op): 7:48pm On Nov 29, 2013
A Japanese construction company is proposing to solve the energy problems facing Japan, and ultimately the entire planet, by turning the Moon into a solar power plant.

Shimizu Corp, which is based in Tokyo, wants to lay a belt of solar panels 250 miles wide around the equator of the Moon and relay the resulting constant supply of energy to "receiving stations" on Earth by laser or microwave transmission.

The proposed 'Luna Ring' would be capable of sending 13,000 terawatts of power to Earth. In 2011, the US generated just 4,100 terawatts of power, the company says.

"A shift from economical use of limited resources to the unlimited use of clean energy is the ultimate dream of mankind," Shimizu said on its website. "The Luna Ring ... translates this dream into reality through ingenious ideas coupled with advanced space technologies."

Until March 2011, and the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that crippled the Fukushima nuclear plant, Japan had relied heavily on nuclear power.

Public opposition to atomic energy has hardened in the intervening years, as the government and Tokyo Electric Power Company struggle to bring the stricken plant's reactors under control.

There is a general acceptance that Japan, which shut down its last functioning nuclear reactor in September, will need to restart its nuclear plants in the short term, but the disaster has focused new attention on alternative -- and safer -- forms of energy.

Shimizu first came up with its Luna Ring proposal before the accident at Fukushima, but the continuing crisis means the scheme is attracting renewed interest.

The company is reluctant to put a price tag on the construction costs involved but, given adequate funding, it believes construction work could get under way as early as 2035.

Robots and automated equipment would be developed to mine the Moon's natural resources and produce concrete and the solar cells required for the scheme.

Once completed, the belt would stretch 6,800 miles around the equator and ensure constant exposure to the sun.

Hmm... Another giant leap for mankind? Could this hopefully solve the world's energy problem?
