Some of those leaders that were burnt that day by the Ogoni youths following Saro Wiwas outbursts, were on the side of Biafra during the Biafra- Nigeria war! So his disdain for them runs deep and have been there for a while..

He understood the underlying sentiments behind Ken Saro Wiwas outbursts that day, that ended with more than 4 Ogoni elders who didn't agree with him being burnt alive..
