by the way, one more reason to worry more about the number of admitted students is, I have a Ghanaian friend, he is a MCFSP scholar and he got in last year, he told me that McGill will be accepting only 8 students for the undergraduate program this year. reason being that McGill only needs 62 undergraduate scholars. so far there are 54 of them at the campus. so they need only 8 this year to complete their number. so its another reason to be scared since the opportunities will further be diminished.

hey we can't actually tell, it basically depends on the strength of one's essays and personal luck.
also admission offer is important because you can't be considered for the MCFSP if you haven't been admitted... so if you are admitted, you should celebrate because you have passed the first step. also admission offer doesn't guarantee your selection for the MCFSP scholarship because I know many pipo who have been admitted and later failed to be selected for the MCFSP scholarship. thus to answer you in brief, the chances remain 50-50....

hey bro, your opinion might right thou, per now I know none from Nigeria who has gotten admission offer... I know guys from Kenya, Uganda, and south Sudan. courage guys! the admission offers will be given out till late march.

hey, you needn't worry about any of those statuses, "reviewed-decision pending"means your file has been reviewed but a decision hasn't been made yet. and "Further review required" means they will have to review you file once more time before a decision can be made. courage!

hey, I was admitted to the faculty of Arts and my colleagues got into science majority engineering. I was told the acceptance letter will only be given if I am selected for the MasterCard foundation or if I am not selected but decide to fund my studies at McGill.
what program did you apply to?

i got admitted with three of my colleagues... plus one Ugandan who applied for engineering.

hey guys, for those who applied to Edinburgh for the MCFSP, has anyone received any updates about their application yet? I remember it was said that they would be contacting students for interviews this month.

hello, any updates from the university of Edinburgh regarding the MCFSP for those who might have applied? i am asking because i remember it was said that they would be contacting short listed applicants for interviews this month of Feb. so has anyone been contacted yet regarding both undergraduate n postgraduate? thanks for your feedback in advance..
