A heated row between two Nigerian men in Mumbai got out of hand after the pair were debating who is the best player in the world

A Nigerian man was killed by his friend in Mumbai following an argument over who is the better player out of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

According to police, Obinna Michael Durumchukwa, 34, was celebrating his birthday with his friend Nwabu Chukwuma, 22, when the pair got into a row over the Barcelona and Real Madrid stars.

According to police inspector Kiran Kabadi, Durumchukwa threw a glass at Chukwuma which missed and hit the wall. Chukwuma then picked up a shard of the glass and slit his friend’s throat.
