As 2011 draws to a close, one eye is inevitably on the treats that are lying ahead for 2012. With that in mind, we've got our line-up of, as things stands, the 25 films that are brightest on our radar.

Now, a couple of disclaimers.

There are films that haven't made the cut here simply because we don't know a fat lot about them yet, or at least not enough to get us fired up. Jack The Giant Killer, Rise Of The Guardians, Red Tails, Chronicle and Dark Shadows all fit into that category.

Plus there are the films that we suspect will turn out strongly, but what we've seen of them so far hasn't blown us away (Brave, Skyfall). Then there are the potential hidden gems (ParaNorman) we'll come to separately in another feature.

We've also had to exclude films that have already had a release in either the UK or the US.

However, that's still left us with a lot of tasty cinema. See what you make of this little lot, and be willing to do battle in the comments

Guys are really becoming annoying nowadays..y do u call that relationship,and first of all come to think of it,y would u have a girl as ur only friend,arent u a guy 27,me am 19 and i make lots of friends daily,cus they would be needed sometime in my life,no matter what,when u have a girl as ur friend,there's gonna be some piece of intimacy within u guys...and u over did it and fell inlove with her abi,she still sees u as a friend,that mean she knws u in and out,shes read u,basically gained thigns from u and decide to find another apple,my guy u need to quit ur friendship and ur relationship or whatever,cus if u guys are still friends u might still fall for her again,and really y would u fight for girl,u did it nt in an open field bt in ur opponent home,how hilarious...u've just tarnished ur image,pride and dignity....i cant fight for a girl,especially a one who isnt worth it,there are many way to fight or hurt someone with being physical at all,and she say them beating u and she did nt do anything,she just stood...wow..my guy u cant claim she is ur friend in any way ,becos come to think of it,what or who is a friend,isnt it someone who helps his friend in anyway possible...and if u guys are in a relationship,(in ur words)..he/she cant let his spouse get hurt...at all,so u guys arent friends nor in any silly relationship..and speaking u saw her cheating and ur still with her ,whats ur problem(sorry forwriting bluntly)..how can u take her back,,,she made a mistake,she told ,what is d probability that she wont make again...so listen to my advise..get to understand and weigh what we all have told u...u are our brother and we dnt want to see u get hurt...i may be young(19) bt i reason and see life in a very delicate manner,i study nature...
