The deceased were identified as Sayed Yahya Hamidi, deputy minister of intelligence for Israel affairs, who was accused of orchestrating operations against Jews, Western actors, and regime opponents both inside andoutside Iran; and Jalal Pour Hussein, head of the espionage division at Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.The Israeli military described the duo as “senior terrorists” and stated that additional high-ranking targets were neutralized in the operation.

The latest attacks come amid an intensifying cycle of strikes and counter-strikes between Iran, Israel, and allied forces in the region, further heightening fears of a broader conflict in West Asia.
