They say we are free that colonization is a
thing of the past, Look around us, time is
going by and still can't get right.
They say our land is home of poverty and
disease and we are treated like the second
class citizen of the world.


Our leaders run around begging for help
when the solution is right here at home with
us, the future of this land is in the hands of
every man, woman, young and old,
everybody is to be blamed for the failure of
our society.


See around us, we are still slave, politically
we are still slave, economically we are still
slave, ideological we are still slave, to
material wealth we are still slave , to foreign
ideas we are still slave, T religion we are
still slave.


We are trying to Fix things from from the
top to the ground, but the way to solve it is
from the ground upwards.


Change begins with individual, Everyone dips hand
into the pot but no one replenishes, have
you forgotten the rules?


Without love there cannot be true justice
and peace, we must turn our back on
selfishness and greed, we must go back to
our culture of community, we must go back
to agriculture because a land that cannot
feed herself will always remain servant to
others.


This land will be great nation one day, a
place where dreams come true, our hope is
in the children, Teach them to love their
fellow man, and never to judge anyone by
the colour of their skin, religion, or language.


Teach them to be proud of our culture and
values of hard work , honesty and treat every Child like your own because eery child no matter the circumstances of his birth has a glorious future, teach them to be strong in love, teach them never to look down on themselves, teach them to always raise
their head up where ever they may be.
Teach them to sing this song of pride (I. e
our national anthem).


We are proud of our culture, we are proud
of Nigeria, we are proud of our country.

It was reported yesterday that a corp member Dayo serving in Rivers state is dead.. drown in the river. An aggrieved school mate Banjo mosunMola shared her own opinion on the matter. Read What she wrote below :


Something is wrong about DAYO's death. Something is fishy.
The report getting to me now was that Dayo slipped while trying to board the jetty.
Isn't that very funny.
How can some just slip when trying to board and NO one was there to save Him ?
Where was the captain of the jetty?
Usually the boarding area is always at a shallow place mostly at the bank of the river.How did he drown so quickly?
Why is NYSC not doing anything abt
Dayo's case? Rather they are calling for head count. And how fast did he drown that he couldn't have been rescued at alll?
Why are they posting corpers to such area's that cost them their lives. We need proper explanation for his Death.
Or we are rulling Dayo's cases has MURDER.
NYSC in Rivers don't care for Corp member,no respect, no compensation.... Dayo is the second corp member there to loose his life.
DAYO was my course mate and a very good friend. Despite the way i usually tease him, he will just sheeply smile. We the student of FCAH&PT won't stop until we get to the root of the matter. #justiceforDayo @instablog9ja @officiallindaikeji @daddyfreeze @krystaltalks @bellanaijaonline
