PoliticsHardship: 'you Can Hang To Death' FFK Says by MrProlific95(op): 4:55pm On Jun 08, 2024
What does that man mean by Nigerians should hang on, even if we hang to death the hardship is not reducing and the President's team seems to have lost ideas on what to actually do.

The likes of FFK, Reno, Bwala, Onanuga who never experienced the effect of hardship but have been maintained by Government funds should keep quiet when it comes to advising the masses.

Validated:
You evicted yourself on May 7, 2024. The law gives the landlord right to evict you after 7 days into your new rental period, if you fail to renew.
But with the eviction notice will take 6 months before it can be enforced.

Been observed eviction notice and enforcing same are different
PoliticsSee how much your state needs to pay workers monthly by MrProlific95(op): 4:34pm On Jun 08, 2024
Dear Nairalanders, let us not be docile.

We should put these Governors to task, Let us each from the 36 states of Nigeria find out how much the current monthly wage bill for active civil service of each state.

How can these wicked people have the effrontery to tell Nigerians that #60,000 is not sustainable even when that will never be accepted by the hardworking masses.

Even the fueling of one out of the numerous vehicles in their wasteful convoys takes more than #60,000 Fuel monthly.
Where necessary let us use freedom of information bill to request this information from Office of Accountant General of each state.

My State, Delta State Monthly wage bill is
about #13.6 billion Naira with an annual wage bill of #164 billion.

I wonder why the Wage bill jumped from about #6 billion in 2019 to #13.bn in 2024.

PoliticsRe: Why Are The Governors Silent About The New Minimum Wage? by MrProlific95: 7:28pm On Jun 06, 2024
helinues:
My issue with the new minimum wage are the state governors. We have not been taking time to check balanced their behaviors most especially when it comes to paying salaries on time.

Some of them would deliberately fixed like 6 months workers salary into their private account, the interest in millions
True, Organized Labour need to channel their energy at the various state government because the state Labour execs are afraid to confront their state governors
PoliticsRe: Why Are The Governors Silent About The New Minimum Wage? by MrProlific95: 7:25pm On Jun 06, 2024
helinues:
Wouldn't it be better if states can have general minimum wage different from FG, same as private sectors.

Those in the private sectors would also struggle with whatever the new minimum wage.

Inflation would be inevitable, but to what extent is what government should start preparing for ahead
No, if the power to determine or fix minimum wage is put in the hands of private sector or state government there would be problem, since Governors collect increased allocation any state that doesn't pay should have reduced allocation
PoliticsRe: Why Are The Governors Silent About The New Minimum Wage? by MrProlific95: 7:22pm On Jun 06, 2024

The reasons are simple, those who get into power via do or die means cannot be symbols of Democracy.

Tinubu hqs struggled so hard to bw called a Democrat, but he aint a democrat by any means, the last general elections in Nigeria were not close to free and fair

PoliticsGlobal Recognition Of Palestinian State Will Trigger Fresh Biafra Agitation by MrProlific95(op): 10:36pm On May 30, 2024
Careful observers of global happenings will see that there is an increased recognition of a Palestinian state.

Should the world move to officially recognize Palestine as an independent country it could trigger a more violent uprising and agitation for recognition and independence of the Biafran State.

Federal Government should thread carefully in its support for Palestine.

Nigeria is not as united as it was in 1967.

Do not create more problems domestically in the name of forming global moral support for Palestine. As witnessed with Niger Republic coup, our engagement with global community has local consequences on the Nigerian state and Nigerian people.

Almost every fragmented idea in the Nigerian State wants out, President Tinubu should caution Mr Tuggar to thread with wisdom in his involvement in the Hamas-Israeli crises.

God bless Nigeria.
