Cashio: Bro, I have two ACs in two rooms plus a standing AC in my parlor plus a fridge and a freezer. Before 2024, these appliances used to run almost 24/7 and it costs me around 3k every five days. Baba, as at today, If I run those appliances like I used to, it costs me 5k daily. Right now, my parlor AC got spoilt and I was even happy it did so I'll save cost from there. The second AC I have disconnected that one since. My bedroom AC, na off and on I dey do am now. Money wey I dey use sub light alone is more than my annual rent. Since this year, na only once I don sub DStv. Next will be during world cup. 17k to fill 12.5kg gas. Before 2024, I used to cook soup and stew with 15k-20k weekly. Right now, na 50k weekly and we still have to squeeze the portioning and the volume of water to ensure it lasts one full week.
Like, bro, I am practically living like a pauper right now. Person wey dey go eatery tow or three times weekly before go chop varieties even as food dey house. Now like this, I dey even dodge to komot with my wife make she nor go see wetin she wan buy.
My head dey pain me bro. Bro you're like me...na before Christmas 2025 i subscribed to my comfam bouquet and expired in January after which I decided not to sub until the wafcon begins in March but it was postponed at the last minute to August and I haven't subscribed since then until June when the world cup begins.....honestly speaking this canal just yanked off one of my favourite channel CBS reality so I can't watch Cheaters, American Border Patrol,Sky Cops,The Bailiffs, Relative Justice, Judge Judy etc, as such the motivation no dey to subscribe monthly again |

Travel › Re: South Africa Denied Me Entry Over Expired Visa, Allowed Europeans — BUA Boss by Mrtaye: 4:02pm On May 15 |
Lionessza6: The entitlement towards South Africa is becoming nauseating.
South Africa did not “deny an African entry while welcoming Europeans.” South Africa enforced its immigration laws exactly as every sovereign country does.
Mr. Rabiu himself admitted his visa had expired before arrival. That is not discrimination ..... that is immigration compliance. If a South African arrived in Nigeria, the UK, USA, or even Rwanda with an expired visa, they would also be denied entry.
The comparison with Europeans is also misleading. Many European countries have bilateral visa-waiver agreements with South Africa based on tourism, trade, and reciprocity. In the same way, many fellow Africans....especially citizens from SADC countries such as Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho, Eswatini and others.....enjoy visa-free or easier access into South Africa because of regional African agreements.
So the claim that “Africans are rejected while Europeans are welcomed” is simply not true. Millions of Africans enter South Africa legally every year through existing African regional agreements.
South Africans themselves still need visas for many African countries, including Nigeria in most cases. No country suspends its immigration laws because a visitor is wealthy, influential, or African. Rules are rules, and every traveller is responsible for ensuring their documents are valid before boarding a flight. OK the immigration law only allows whites without valid visas |

Catapault: NIGERIA'S ANNUAL BUDGET IS $40 BILLION FOR 250 MILLION PEOPLE.
THE USA YOU WORSHIP HAS AN ANNUAL BUDGET OF $7 TRILLION FOR ITS 300 MILLION PEOPLE.
YOU WANT TO NIGERIA TO BE LIKE AMERICA AND GERMANY AND JAPAN.
WITH YOUR $40 BILLION BUDGET.
HOW?
AMERICA, DESPITE ITS $7 TRILLION BUDGET, STILL OWES OVER $10 TRILLION. THE WORLD'S LARGEST DEBTOR NATION.
EVERY COUNTRY BORROWS MONEY, APART FROM A COUPLE OF GULF NATIONS WITH TINY POPULATIONS AND HUGE OIL AND GAS INCOME.
SO EVEN IF ZERO MONEY IS LOST TO CORRUPTION, THE COUNTRY WILL SUFFER AND CANNOT DEVELOP IF IT DOESN'T BORROW.
IN FACT, WE SHOULD BORROW MORE, AND BUILD MORE!
TO THOSE ASKING WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING, MY ANSWER IS "YOU WILL NOT SIT IN YOUR BACKYARD OR PARLOUR AND KNOW. TRAVEL ROUND THE STATES AND SEE A STORM OF NEW INFRASTRUCTURE SPRINGING UP DUE TO MULTIPLIED FEDERAL ALLOCATION TO STATES SINCE FUEL SUBSIDY REMOVAL".
WHEN IT IS TIME TO SHOWCASE & HAIL THE PROGRESS OF YOUR OWN STATE OR GOVERNOR, YOU ARE SO HAPPY AND PROUD TO SHOW IT, AND BOAST WITH IT. SINCE YOU ONLY CARE ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR ETHNIC GROUP.
FORGETTING SUCH PROGRESS IS DUE TO INCREASED FEDERAL FUNDING WHICH IS GOING TO ALL THE STATES, NOT JUST YOURS. Wetin consign America with money wey una go borrow....America isn't a borrow borrow abi of what benefit is the money you wan borrow to me. to what end again |

Education › Re: 72 Most Popular Gen Z Slang Words Of 2026 – Rizz, Delulu, Skibidi Etc., And What by Mrtaye: 8:39pm On Apr 30 |
Na lie rizz na rizzla used by smokers AmbFmk: 72 Most Popular Gen Z Slang Words of 2026 👀
Rizz, Delulu, Skibidi and the Internet Language Everyone Suddenly Understands
One thing I’ve noticed lately is that Gen Z slang changes almost every week. You open TikTok, scroll through Instagram comments, or watch a random livestream, and suddenly everyone is saying words like “rizz,” “delulu,” “aura farming,” or “skibidi” like they have existed forever.
Meanwhile, half the internet is quietly pretending they know what those words actually mean.
That is exactly why this new guide breaks down the 72 most popular Gen Z slang words of 2026 in a way that actually makes sense.
Some of these slang terms are hilarious. Some are chaotic. Some sound completely made up until you hear them used five times in one day. And honestly, a few of them secretly say a lot about internet culture right now.
You will discover viral slang like:
• Rizz → the ability to charm or flirt naturally • Delulu → being delusional in a funny or overly hopeful way • Skibidi → internet chaos that somehow became a global meme • Aura farming → trying too hard to look cool online • Crash out → completely losing emotional control • Locked in → being fully focused or obsessed with something • NPC → acting robotic or painfully repetitive • Cooked → being in trouble, exhausted, or finished
And that is just the beginning.
The real takeaway here is that Gen Z slang is no longer just “teen language.” These phrases now shape memes, captions, gaming culture, reaction videos, online dating conversations, and even everyday texting.
Some words start as jokes and somehow end up everywhere. Others completely change meaning depending on context. That is what makes modern slang so entertaining and confusing at the same time.
In my view, learning these terms feels less like memorizing vocabulary and more like decoding the internet itself.
So whether you keep seeing these words online, want to understand what your friends are saying, or simply do not want to feel lost in comment sections anymore, this list makes everything easier to follow.
Quick heads-up though: once you learn what these slang words mean, you will start noticing them absolutely everywhere.
And yes… someone is definitely going to call something “skibidi” today. Lol

Car Talk › Re: Should Nigerian Mechanics Learn How To Repair Chinese Cars? by Mrtaye: 6:03pm On Apr 21 |
sarkinbauchi: Nigerian mechanics should start developing the necessary skills to servicing and repairing Chinese automobiles such as Avatar, Geely, Dongfeng, Jetour, GAC, Chery etc as these brands are gaining widespread acceptance in Nigeria due to their affordability, advanced features, and increasing popularity on Nigerian roads.
Acquiring this expertise ensures the long-term relevance of their careers, creates new revenue streams through specialized diagnostics, and meets the growing demand for servicing these vehicles.
Key reasons for Nigerian mechanics to learn Chinese car technology include: Rising Market Popularity: Chinese car brands are gaining significant traction in the Nigerian market, offering competitive pricing compared to traditional Japanese or European models such as Toyota, Honda, Mercedes etc.
Technological Advancement: These vehicles feature modern technology, including smart features, advanced infotainment systems, and new engines, which require specialized knowledge of diagnostic tools and computerized systems.
High Demand for Specialized Maintenance: There is a growing need for trained mechanics who can service Chinese brands, providing a competitive edge to those who can repair these cars.
Improved Reliability and Parts Access: Chinese cars are adapting better to local road conditions, and their parts are becoming increasingly accessible.
Future-Proofing Skills: Acquiring knowledge of these systems prepares technicians for the influx of new, technology-driven vehicles entering the local market.
Parts Availability: Contrary to fears of scarcity, Chinese auto companies are increasingly establishing branches and authorized dealerships, making parts more accessible and necessary for skilled repair.
In conclusion, specializing in Chinese vehicles is a strategic career move for Nigerian mechanics, turning potential repair challenges into profitable, long-term employment opportunities and remaining relevant in the Automobile World Motor wey no get second hand value |
