Leyqute: Dorgu is not a winger. Bruno had to trigger his run here.
Look how easy Bruno Fernandes makes this for Patrick Dorgu. Tells him exactly where to be & puts it on a platter for him. He's simply the best chance creator you'll ever see.
88% passing, 5 chances created, 1 assist. That's why is the best #10 there is. pic.twitter.com/HaeoYmwkc9
patrickmuf: Any manager who knows what he is doing would not sit back and watch his employers change the terms of a contract midway through his engagement.
In Amorim’s case, however, he is not without blame. We expected the club to move on from the likes of Shaw, Mount, Casemiro, Maguire, and others who were either not good enough or too injury-prone. Instead, Amorim came in and immediately took to Mount like a father to a son, constantly reminding us that Mount is a manager’s delight. The same Amorim made Dalot one of the team leaders and a guaranteed starter. So, who exactly is to be blamed? When we received a very good offer for Bruno, Amorim was quoted by Bruno as saying he wanted him to stay at the club, which was one of the factors that convinced Bruno to reject a move to Saudi Arabia.
What about Maguire and Casemiro? It was still Amorim who pushed for their continued retention. Now I ask: how exactly do you expect us to keep these players on high wages and still go on to spend money on new players? Take our defence, for instance. We have Maguire, De Ligt, Licha, Heaven, Yoro, and Shaw, all capable of playing at centre-back. That is five to six players for the CB position, even though we are not participating in any European competition.
The same thing would have happened in midfield if we had signed additional players to add to the ones we already have. Mainoo hardly got a look in, yet Amorim blocked his exit from the club. I now understand why the board were keen to relegate him from manager to head coach, but he believed he was good enough to be the manager rather than just a head coach.
But amori didn't like case and wanted to let him go but no offers.
Now Na that same case keep am this long for this work.
engrelvis: How has he been faring since leaving man UTD? All this entitlement mentality from our so called legend is part of our problem.Gary Neville is always using his podcast on Sky sports to discredit coaches that comes.A man who doesn't v good coaching career dishing out instructions on how a team shud be coach.Yes Amorim has his fault but we are playing better than last season.Sixth on the table.Majority of our top players are either injured or at afcon yet we were able to get a win and two draws from our last three matches.Amorim having mouth diarrhea at a press conference is not enough to sack him.Y not wait till end of season then take yr decision.l sincerely hope this doesn't haunt us later
It's more than enough to sack brother
He talks too much
Top proud
Lie that u can see any tactical know how in his game
Goosethetruth: Good riddance to bad rubbish. He was totally out of his depth. He was never a Manchester United manager and should have been sacked after the Europa final loss to Spurs in Bilbao. Better late than never. Let Fletcher take temporary control till the end of the season while the board looks for a proper replacement. And this time they should take their time to carefully choose a replacement.
Manchester United have revealed it cost £21.4m to sack Erik ten Hag as their manager and hire Ruben Amorim as the Dutchman’s replacement. Ten Hag was removed on 28 October, with his coaching staff René Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar, Pieter Morel and Ruud van Nistelrooy all following. A total £10.4m was paid in compensation to do so.
Signing Amorim, plus the coaching quintet of Carlos Fernandes, Jorge Vital, Adélio Cândido, Emanuel Ferro and Paulo Barreira who followed him from Sporting, was priced at £11m, the club’s latest accounts state.
Goosethetruth: Amorim should roll up his sleeves and get to work pending when the job comes to an end. Whether he is the manager or coach of Manchester United is not important. What is important is for Amorim to understand that the board is NOT ready to give him any more money in January to buy new players so that he can play them out of their prefered positions while setting up an 8-1-1 formation against teams like Wolves. The end is apparently getting near.
