Maybe Shaw. I am not sure Martinez is agile enough. Midfield play is different from CB cos in midfield your awareness has to be 360 degrees and the opponents are in close proximity, while CBs have more time and space.

Licha is more composed than varane and lindelof.

Shaw has a killer touch.
. Licha has a better pass and is more aggressive to play that number 4 position.

He's also aggressive..

If Jones cN play midfielder against real Madrid I dont see why licha can't do it

100%. Martinez is an excellent short and long passer, makes brave line-breaking passes and can also progress the ball with well-timed runs. Shaw on his left side is also a very good passer, though not as brave as Lisandro. Varane and AWB on the right side struggle in comparison.

Mount does not even play in the pivot for Chelsea. He plays further forward in attacking midfield or sometimes on the wing. Only madness can explain a manager chasing him for 50m, and i don't think ETH is mad.

I have a feeling he wants a more attacking team.

With the left back or right back slotting into midfield.
