RomanceFemale Vicar In A Sexual Activity With Prison Inmate In Jail Meeting Room by MuguVideosNG(op): 7:42am On Mar 22, 2021
It is claimed police were promptly called after the alarm was raised by a member of prison staff who walked in on the pair "in a clinch".

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a female vicar has been allegedly caught romping with a prisoner.

She was caught romping inside a jail meeting room, according to reports.

It is claimed police were promptly called after the alarm was raised by a member of prison staff who walked in on the pair "in a clinch".

The vicar was swiftly arrested on suspicion of engaging in sexual activity with a convicted arsonist, who was seen sitting in a chair at the time, it is reported.

A source told The Sun: “It all blew up last week when staff couldn’t find the prisoner as all the inmates were being moved back to their cells.

“They checked the paperwork and saw that he was due to be visiting the chapel. An officer went there but couldn’t find him.

“A female officer then went to another landing where there are interview rooms and classrooms and she caught him in a clinch with the vicar.

“She was suspended and the police were called. There will be a full investigation with the police. Obviously she was in a position of trust.”

The vicar's reported suspension comes after years of visiting the prison and work at a church which has earned her local priest's support during the investigation.

A colleague described her as a "lovely lady" and has vowed to stand by her.

The woman and the prison cannot be named for legal reasons, and the police force that arrested has not given further details.

The Prison Service said: “A member of staff has been suspended pending a police investigation.”

The arsonist was jailed for life after starting a fire at his ex-girlfriend’s home and now faces punishment by moving wings or even prisons, according to the source.

He could also have privileges removed.

Daily Star has approached Ministry of Justice for a response.

Foreign AffairsNelson Mandela's House Abandoned After Family Failed To Pay Bills For It by MuguVideosNG(op): 7:32am On Mar 22, 2021
Nelson Mandela's once elegant house now an eyesore after family abandoned and failed to pay bills for it

Former South African President, Nelson Mandela’s once-elegant Houghton home in Johannesburg is now an abandoned eyesore.

The house at 12th Avenue in which some of the world’s leading figures were hosted in, was until last year occupied by Mandela’s grandchildren, Ndaba, Mbuso and Andile, who are the sons of the late Makgatho Mandela. Makgatho was Madiba’s son by his first wife, Evelyn.

Sunday Times reported that the electric gate is seemingly broken, portions of the roof fascia are missing or collapsing, the tennis court is crumbling and the tiled roof of one of the outbuildings is sagging.
The once-manicured pavement garden where well-wishers placed stones painted with messages of hope shortly before Madiba’s death in 2013, is now overgrown and littered with rubbish.

It was also learnt that the three brothers lived in the house after Mandela’s death, but Ndaba said they moved out after the Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela (NRM) Family Trust stopped paying the utility bills.
The house is owned by Mandela’s company, Iterele Investments. On his death, Iterele and the house vested in his estate under the control of the executors which include former deputy chief justice Dikgang Moseneke.

Mandela bequeathed the shares in Iterele, and therefore the house to the trust. However, the estate is yet to effect this transfer.

When the Sunday Times team visited the house last week, a man who opened the gate said it was being sold. He said;

“I have come to help Mandela’s grandsons … We have put furniture in storerooms. From last week people have been to see the house.”

Ndaba Mandela had accused Moseneke and advocate Wim Trengove, a trustee of the NRM Family Trust of displacing him and his brothers by failing to pay the municipal bills. He alleged they wanted to sell the house. Moseneke and Trengove dismissed the allegations, saying the trust stopped paying the bills after they suddenly more than tripled to about R50,000 a month.

Mandela’s will stipulated that he wanted Makgatho and his children to have use of the house “in perpetuity”.
“The trustees shall … pay all assessment rates and other municipal charges and fees in respect of the Houghton property … and maintain the Houghton property in good order and condition.”

Ndaba however alleged that trustees failed to stick the willl. He said;

"The trustees decided not to pay for lights in order to kick us out”, and it was the trust’s fault that the house was now an eyesore.

“Moseneke brought people to the house without telling the family so they could do an evaluation. The house is worth between R10m and R15m."

He added that while the majority of the family had voted to sell the house, “he was one of the few who voted not to. It belongs in the family. I will fight for it, with everything that I have.”

Moseneke on his own part said he had performed his duties “lawfully, honestly and to the best of my ability, properly assisted by two reputable law firms who manage the day-to-day affairs of the deceased estate”.
He added “I have [alerted] the law firms to these manifold bizarre imputations. I have served as executor at no remuneration. I deny any act of impropriety. I will not respond to baseless accusations.”

One of the trustees, Mr Trengrove however stated that the trust had no legal responsibility to contribute towards the house’s upkeep and municipal bills but had to do so because the family “implored the trust to help.

Trengrove reiterated that they stopped paying the bills because they “shot up from about R15,000 per month to about R50,000 per month without any explanation”.
He said;

“We resumed payment, and paid all the arrears, when the bills came down again to their former level.
“We stopped paying because we felt that we could not spend R50,000 per month of the trust’s money, for which it had no liability, without any explanation for the inordinately high bills.”

Trengrove also revealed that an “overwhelming” majority of Mandela family members had agreed that the house should be sold “if and when” it is transferred to the trust.

Ndaba however defended the bills increment by stating that it shot up due to a leak. He averred that it was repaired at his cost.

Politics774,000 Jobs: Buhari Approves Payment Of Stipends To Participants by MuguVideosNG(op): 8:18am On Mar 21, 2021
Recall that the programme designed to engage 774,000 unemployed Nigerians started nationwide on January 5, 2020 after several postponements.
Festus Keyamo (SAN), the Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Productivity, on Saturday, announced that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has approved the payment of stipends to the 774,000 participants of the ongoing Special Public Works Programme across the country.

Keyamo announced this in a message he posted on his Twitter handle, @fkeyamo.

Recall that the programme designed to engage 774,000 unemployed Nigerians started nationwide on January 5, 2020 after several postponements.

While N52bn was appropriated for the scheme, each of the 774,000 workers is expected to earn N20,000 monthly for the three-month duration of the job, amounting to about N46.44bn.

Keyamo said he had directed the National Directorate of Employment to begin processing the payments.

He assured the participants that they will soon receive alerts.

The minister wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari has graciously directed a release of the funds for the payment of stipends to the 774,000 participants of the SPW programme.

“I have consequently directed the NDE to begin processing the payments and participants should begin to receive payments soon.

“In order to eliminate fraud and/or double payments, I have also directed that every payment to participants should be made using the BVN of their accounts so we can have an audit trail of every single payment.

“Those who registered with different names should not expect payments.”

The programme commenced on January 5 contrary to a resolution by the House of Representatives that asked the Federal Government to suspend it.

The House had particularly asked Keyamo to suspend the exercise indefinitely until all issues the National Assembly had against it were resolved.

The programme, designed to employ 1,000 Nigerians from each of the 774 local government areas in the country was initially scheduled for launch on October 1, last year but it ran into hitches following the power play between Keyamo and the then Director-General, NDE, Nasir Ladan, who was later sacked.

HealthHousewife Who Bleeds From Her Eyes During Her Period Baffles Doctors by MuguVideosNG(op): 6:52pm On Mar 19, 2021
Doctors were left shocked when a housewife on her period started crying tears of blood in an extremely rare medical anomaly.

The 25-year-old woman from Chandigarh, India, was diagnosed with haemolacria after seeking help for the condition at the city’s Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Dailystar reports.

Haemolacria is a physical condition that causes a person to produce tears that are partially composed of blood.

Dr Soumitra Ghosh, who documented the case in a new study, said: "Haemolacria means bloody tears. Patients will have blood coming out from one or both eyes.

"Blood coming out with tears is a very alarming clinical entity both for the patient and physician. If you see blood coming out from the eyes, you can imagine how scary a situation it is.

"Haemolacria is a rare clinical condition. It has multiple causes. One of the causes is vicarious menstruation.

"Vicarious menstruation is defined as cyclical bleeding in other extrauterine organs like the nose, eyes, ears, intestine, lungs, nipples and skin.

"Haemolacria due to vicarious menstruation is very, very rare. Only a few cases have been reported in the medical literature so far."

The exact cause of the condition is uncertain, but doctors think the fact that the patient was menstruating at the time could be important.

Dr Gosh explained how the condition appears to be the eyes' blood vessels responding to hormonal changes in the body.

CelebritiesI Hawked Fufu Before Relocating Abroad - Nigerian Born UFC Superstar, Kamaru Usm by MuguVideosNG(op): 10:51am On Mar 19, 2021
Nigerian born martial arts champion, Kamaru Usman has shared stories of his humble beginning in Nigeria before relocating to the United States in search of greener pastures.

In an interview on Channels Television, Usman who is UFC’s current welterweight champion recalled selling fufu while living in Edo state.

The Auchi-born fighter who moved to the US at the age of 8, described his mother as a hustler who sold different things.

Usman said;

“We grew up in the village. We farmed. As a small boy, farm boy, I used to hawk Akpu, put hot Akpu on my head. I came from nothing.

“There is just struggle every day, the struggle to, how are we gonna eat next week, next month. What are we gonna do?

“We owned a small store where we sold clothes, we sold shoes, my mum sold bags, anything that we could sell, my mum was able to get and try to sell. My mum was a hustler and that is one of the things I respect so much about her as a woman with three rowdy Naija boys.”

The fighter also disclosed that his father went to prison while he was still in college, and also talked about the father-daughter bond he enjoys with his five-year-old daughter, Samirah.

Usman added;

“My daughter, Samirah, I love her to death. She’s very intriguing to me because from about 6 months to about three and half years of her life, she went to the gym with me every day. Then she hit about five years and then she started saying, ‘you know I’m not going to do this daddy, right. You know I’m not going do this sport.’

“I think I have to just accept that and honestly I don’t think I want her to this sport anyway. She’s got her thing, she’s doing gymnastics and for self defence. She does Ju-Jitsu because she has to learn how to control the situation if anything happens. I’m okay with those right now.”

The UFC Champion further revealed he is planning to fully move into commentary and analysis of mixed martial arts after retirement.

He said;

“Talking about the Sport that I’ve spent so much time in, that’s a dream. So now instead of getting punched in the face you are talking about people who are getting punched in the face. And so, it’s a dream for me but I’m slowly getting my feet wet in it and finding my ground because it is something I definitely want to do when I walk away from this sport.”

The Christian Association of Nigeria has dragged the Federal Government to court to challenge some provisions in the just gazetted controversial Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 popularly called CAMA.

In a statement on Monday by its General Secretary, Joseph Daramola, the Christian body said it is not comfortable with some provisions of CAMA 2020, hence , its decision to challenge the matter in court.

The suit No FHC/ ABJ/ CS/ 244/ 2021 between the Incorporated Trustees of Christian Association of Nigeria; and the Corporate Affairs Commission as well as the Minister of Industry , Trade and Investment was filed before the Federal High Court, Abuja , the statement said .
The case was mentioned at the Federal High Court , Abuja , on Monday , it added.
“ The Association resolved to go to court after all attempts to convince the Federal government why it should not intervene or interfere with the management of the Church in the country through any of its agencies failed, ” the statement partly read.

The PUNCH had earlier reported that the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ) , on August 7, 2020 , signed into law, the Companies and Allied Matters Bill, 2020. The bill, which has also been passed by the National Assembly, replaced the 1990 CAMA.

But top clerics in the country like the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo ; as well as the CAN and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, amongst others, have rejected the law, especially the section 839 ( 1) and ( 2) of the law which empowers the supervising minister “ to suspend trustees of an association ( in this case, the church ) and appoint the interim managers to manage the affairs of the association for some given reasons.

Human rights lawyer , Femi Falana ( SAN) and a former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission , Chidi Odinkalu , among others, have also said CAMA 2020 would allow for gross violation of fundamental human rights, especially the right of association .
Falana and Odinkalu argued that the new law gave too much power to the Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission, which can easily be used to arbitrarily clamp down on civil society organisations .
