@Segzy201 why all this headache you causing for your self sure you saw/read the solution I gave you... That was the exact step I took when I was faced with that challenge. I wished someone told me... But it took me months to take such step.. Go to your registrar/academic office tomorrow morning tell them you want them to sent an email to saqa telling saqa that your certificate is indeed an authentic one.. Follow the comment I made on your question and see if their would not be a speedy solution.
@segzy201 I think you should try Diamond1960's step, it's very pragmatic, I told you how I sorted mine out, I didn't have to go through that route besides, the school I finished from, it would be very difficult for one to get the registrar/academic office to send such email.....Best of luck bro.... Cheers!

House haba no reply for my case?
Awwwwww sorry bro, guess no one responded because the issue has been explicitly discussed in the previous pages. Try to check the backlog.... However,
For a visitors visa, you need the following docs:
1) International passport
2) Completed visa application form with two passport
photographs (White background)
3) Yellow card
4) Letter of Introduction from employer or Self letter of
introduction if you are self employed
5) Bank Statement
6) Pay slips
7) Valid hotel booking
Flight reservation
9) Visa application fees
10)Copy of work ID card
You can also include any other supporting documents
you have (if any) to boost your chances. All the best.....Cheers!!!

Thanks Broo. How about using my SAQA evaluation certificate that was scanned and sent to me via email? This one that you said original saqa? Because I only have the printed copy with me.
You are welcome bro, yes you can use it but just make sure you print it in coloured, front and back page, and probably on a white conqueror paper cheers!!!.

pls saqa said dey hv sent d mail to my school for verification but my school say they dont see any mail. pls i ask dem to resend but dey said dey will i even call der customer line said same tin pls what can i do now to ask dem to resend it because i need d certificate urgently
SAQA sends both hard and soft copy of verification document but the hard copy takes about a month or more before it arrives in Nigeria hence you have to follow up with your school to tell you when the hard copy arrives and keep calling and mailing SAQA to request that they send another verification document, if possible. Make sure you include your school email address in the email you send to SAQA. Had the same problem, they told me that they will send another email but they didn't, eventually, the hard copy arrived in Nigeria and my institution responded......Cheers.

Please gurus in the house, where does one apply for 6 MONTHS SA medical visa in Nigeria, VFS or South Africa High Commission? Not sure if it's a long term or short term visa also considering the fact that it's a medical visa for treatment in South Africa. Thanks.

please i need a quick response. My original statement of result is in SA and i currently have the certified copy with me in Nigeria. Hope they wont ask for the original before collecting the certified copy for my application for study permit? Thanks
You can tell someone in SA to scan it clearly and send it to you via email, then you will print it in coloured in Nigeria. Its safer that way though they don't usually ask for it, it's the original of the SAQA that they always want to sight.

Alright. Thank you. Some of my questions are that the application form I av wit me is about 12 pages containing some information pages. Are we submitting all these 2gether wit d pages that contain data? In addition, I learnt there is timetable for filing the application as regards days of d week (Tue, Wed & Thurs). Finally, where is d embassy located, how much sud I av in my account to qualify me and like how much will d whole application cost me? Thank u once again.
Yes, you are to submit the firm with the data page.
Yes, there is timetable, Tuesday is for verification of your documents at the SA High Commission, the following Wednesday is for payment but that can only be done when your documents have been verified and they are all in order, your name will be sent to diamond bank (adeola odeku branch) for visa application fee payment (NB: you can't make payment at diamond bank except your are told to go there on Wednesday to make payment, Thursday is for submission of your application at the SA High Commission. I really can't say @how much you must have in your account, but you must have enough funds to cover your tuition, accommodation, ticket and living expenses, also considering the fact that you are going with your wife and 2 kids, they may factor in their travel and living expenses too. If you have a scholarship then it will be nice to include the scholarship documents while applying and also state it in your letter of introduction. The visa application fee is #8,500 for study visa with charges of about #1,500, making a total of about #10,000. You are welcome sir.

Yes Muhaogunlo. Thank you very much for your comprehensive write-up after weeks of neglect from busy nairalanders. Pls can I get ur personal contact like phone number, bbm or email so that I can ask some private questions. I have so many issues concerning the visa and I have been receiving divert pieces of advice from different people. Thanks I appreciate.
@megainstdem, You are welcome bro. I really don't know if it is allowed to share personal contact here, I've seen nairalanders argue on whether or not to exchange contacts so as to keep the information open to whoever visits the thread in future and also for other people to contribute and debunk wrong/stale information, no one knows it all. However, I'll try to answer your questions ASAP and I'm sure other nairalanders will also answer.

Kind Regards.

Dear Nairaladers pls bail me out. My wife and I were offered
admission to UCT to study MSc and PhD respectively for Jan
2016 and we wish to process our study visa with our two
kids.Pls how do we go about this, most especially d one dat
concerns d kids?i heard MSc visa application can't start now
except in november, pls how true is this?We are presently
pulling all d necessary documents together. Thanks
The MSc. Study visa application is still on, though there is an information on the notice board in the south africa high commission lagos office that application for MSc. Study visa has been suspended till november, however, you can still go and apply, they are accepting applications. But your programme is starting Jan 2016, they may ask you to come back by november to apply, processing time is about 6wks, but u can go on any tuesday btw 9am-12pm to make enquiries about when to apply and also how to go about the application for your kids. @the kids, I think you need to file separate applications for yourself and your wife first, after your visa has been granted, either of you may now file an application for your kids as accompanying relatives. Though there is also a section in your application where you will indicate if you have relatives that will need to accompany you. I'll advice you apply for the kids using your own visa when granted because you will have a longer stay than your wife since you are going for a PhD and she is going for masters. PhD will most definitely be longer. I hope this information helps.

welcome... yes you have to register, and be a member. I don't know how it works in the field, but I will assume that when you register, and your documents are complete, a date will be set for your exam, you don't necessarily need to be in SA to prepare for the exam. For the exam proper, either you get a visitors visa or you can make an arrangement with HPCSA to write the exam at the south african high commission in nigeria..

I went through the registration procedure and am assuming that you will register under the foreign practitioner category
@sultan003, don't think I can write the exam with a visitor's visa cos one must have a permit that will allow for 2yrs internship and a year community service in a public hospital after passing the exam, don't even think I can write the exam with a study permit.

I don't know much about your field, but I think you should go through the critical list and find where you fit in.

2. you need to have your bachelors evaluated by saqa

3. you need to register with the professional organisation (south african) in your field
Thanks @sultan003, that means I have to register with Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA),, which means I must write the licensing exam, which I can't write except with a longer stay permit, hence study permit may not suffice to write the HPCSA licensing exam.
