We have four different types of Interior-choice users.

Few loves historical/traditional living e.g Traditional rulers, Journalist, Lovers of arts, some individuals.

Few loves it to predict their environment (Town and Country) e.g Most Banks, State houses, Presidential lounges, Hotels, most university settings etc.

A large number of users wants it Modern (Modern living)- Got to do with the life style at that point in time- for ex use of wallpapers and 3D wall panels, use of L-Shaped sofas e.g Most individual falls into this category, most schools etc.

While a unique number of very exposed Individuals wants it Contemporary (Never old, never out of place, always trending, always appropriate etc) e.g Me as a person, most qualified decorators, Very exposed Individuals, Lovers of quality, people who knows exactly want they want of their interior. it takes a very careful lover of quality to be contemporary in style. And contemporary isn't more expensive than the others. its just a matter of Choice.
