SportsWhy Dundee United Means Fool Or Idiot In Nigeria by musterseeds(op):
This is the story of how Dundee United became a slang for fool or an idiot in Nigeria.

It was in 1972 when Dundee United visited Nigeria for their pre season tour and had a disastrous run of games; playing 5 games and only winning one. At this time Nigeria premier league just started, and it was a period when Europeans dominated football around the word, with no african team yet winning a game at the World Cup and Nigeria never won a World Cup.

Dundee United lost 4-1 to stationary stores and also lost 2-0 to Enugu Rangers. The game was marketed then as a top team from Europe coming to play the local team with local players so you can imagine the shock of the fans when the so called top team playing woefully in Nigeria. Over time when someone does something weird or behaves like a fool, the person is referred to as a Dundee or Dundee United.

SportsChelsea Deputant Timo Werner’s Says Brighton Defenders Are Too Big by musterseeds(op): 12:59pm On Sep 15, 2020
Chelsea new boy Timo Werner hilariously admitted that he has never played against such "massive defenders" after his side beat Brighton 3-1.

The Blues completed their stunning acquisition of the 24-year-old German striker after activating his £47.5 million release clause.

In his words "I have never played against 3 defenders like this so tall, so big massive defenders!"

Timo Werner saying he has never played against defenders like the Brighton back line!

I hope it does stop honestly

Bestboy11513:
It won't stop in fact they're just beginning, we'll soon get to a point where every Nigerian woman who can afford to buy bleaching cream will surely bleach her skin, we'll get to a point where women with dark skin (the ones that don't bleach) would be seen as ludicrous.
HealthNigerians Stop Bleaching Your Skin by musterseeds(op): 6:06pm On Jun 12, 2019
Would you use a cream or soap that may cause skin cancer, liver damage, kidney damage or poisoning? At a subconscious level in contemporary society there still exists the an old myth that lighter complexions are the equivalent to beauty, assets and success. That myth is just plain bunk. Let us be proud of our African skin. Let us take care of our African skin.

Skin lightening, bleaching and whitening is not a new fad by any means and it has the most serious potential to damage the skin. People of color in countries in Africa and even Asia are relentlessly targeted by unscrupulous advertisers to use dangerous skin lighteners.

What was initially introduced as a means of evening out the skin tone and complexion by lightening or eliminating the signs of sun-damage, age spots or effects of hyper-pigmentation on the skin, skin bleaching and lightening eventually spiraled out of control.

It became an unhealthy obsession that was consistently pursued by the people of color in order to become fairer or whiter and have clear skin.

Yes I understand your concerns. A lot of Nigerians can't afford $1 a day.

Belial06:
Dude first of all while this is a novel idea and I honestly have to commend your efforts . Do not project that the food is cheap because it is not for the average Nigerian .

UN reports that over 90 million nigerians live on less than $1 a day and you are saying this is cheap ?

Well done
