Youtube has revealed their 2015 most watched videos globally and including Nigeria. With over a billion users worldwide, 80% of YouTube’s views are from outside of the US. And in 2015 alone YouTube managed to see the fastest growth in two years, with number of people watching per day is up 40% since March 2014.

Dynamic, exuberant and soulful Nigerian gospel artiste, Michael George, releases two new singles 'My God' and 'Chioma' on his birthday, October 10, 2015. The singles are his debut into the gospel music scene. Produced by Mystro Music Production, the two songs were inspired by his late mother who used to sing to him when he was young. These childhood memories evoked a feeling of nostalgia that saw Michael producing these hits, almost 15 years later.

Having been raised at a young age by The Little Saints Orphanage, Michael soared above life's obstacles and pursued his passion for music. He joined the church choir at the age of 12 and got his first limelight when he performed a medley in front of a jubilant congregation. The resounding applause he received at the end of his performance was a copious evidence that he indeed is towing the right path.

With eyes on the world stage, Michael is on a meteoric rise to fame. 'My God' and 'Chioma' are soulful melodies that are very uplifting. They resonate a strong message of faith, courage and thanksgiving to those who are oppressed by the trials of life.

"I have been through the ups and downs of life and I emerged victorious. That's the message in my songs. People should see themselves triumphant, no matter the obstacles life throws at them," said the young vibrant artiste.

Garbed with a powerful vocal chord, Michael evokes deep emotional and spiritual bonding with divinity through his songs. A part of Michael's humanity is also reflected in his music. The lyrics are embedded with Michael’s humble beginning and his endearing personality. Although, an orphan, Michael is determined to excel in his passion and spread the message of love around the universe.

He is an indigene of Edo state, Nigeria; Michael was born in Lagos and a graduate of Business Administration from Lagos State University. His humane nature empowers him to make an impressive impact in the lives of many through his music. He is determined to raise a pious army for God through his music.

Nigerian 13year old saxophonist, TJ Emore popularly known as TJ Sax once again showed his support for kids living with cancer as well as his passion to kick cancer out of Nigeria by leading the Heart of Hope Walkathon event on Saturday September 19th 2015.

The walkathon which was arranged by the Children Living with Cancer Foundation started at about 8am started from Dowen college Lekki phase 1 through Admiralty way covering approximately four (4) kilometres of walk before heading back down to the popular Oniru market to sensitize the public of possible cancer symptoms in children, dangers of childhood cancer and how to manage, in case of occurrences.

While speaking to news correspondents on his reasons for supporting children living with cancer, TJ Emore said "I am supporting these children because I am happy to be alive, and i want to help others stay alive and live cancer free, they are children like me and i think they deserve the best".

The event ended with a captivating and entertaining performance of the saxophone by TJ Sax himself while the market enjoyed the music and passersby couldn't help but be awed by his marvelous performance.

TJ Sax started his career when he made his first public appearance on 18th September 2008 as he played the Nigerian national anthem at a convocation ceremony. He has since then played at the Aso rock Villa Abuja, various churches, corporate events, and with significant music acts like Yemi sax, the Legend Tuface Idibia, M.I, Sasha P, Dammy Krane, Solidstar etc. TJ released a Christmas carol medley in December 2010 and followed it with a full album and video in December 2011 to mark his 10th Birthday.

A Nigerian man Freeman Osonuga has been shortlisted as one of the lucky
human beings to travel to space!*


Osonuga, a Medicine and Surgery graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University,
was selected through the Rising Star programme, which launched at the One
Young World Summit 2014 in Dublin. The programme invites both One Young
World Ambassadors and outstanding members of the public aged 18-35, to
nominate themselves to take on the trip of a lifetime.

be offered a three year management contract. He will be the

black African to fly to space!


Osonuga is a 2015 WIRED Innovation Fellow. He will be speaking live on
stage at the WIRED 2015 conference in October, London. In late 2014, at the
Peak of the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, he worked as a volunteer and
worked with the African Union team of Ebola responders for 6 months in
Sierra Leone.
