Interesting times. Nigeria needs to engage. The tension is high.

False.

There’s no credible evidence that Elon Musk is trying to father 200 children or that he is building a small city in Texas specifically for that purpose.

Here’s what is actually true based on reliable reporting and public records:

✅ Musk has publicly expressed concern about declining birth rates and has talked about the importance of having children.
✅ He is a father of 11 living children (and one who died in infancy) with multiple partners.
✅ There have been media reports about him acquiring multiple properties in Texas that some outlets described as a potential “family compound” where his children and their mothers might live close to each other.
❌ Musk has publicly denied building a $35 million family compound in Texas for his children.
❌ There’s no verified plan or credible source reporting that he’s trying to father 200 kids or create a city for that purpose.

There is a real place in Texas called Starbase, Texas, associated with SpaceX, which was incorporated as a city in 2025. But that initiative is tied to SpaceX’s rocket testing area and community development — not a personal project for fathering hundreds of children.

So the claim you mentioned is false or highly exaggerated and appears to originate from rumors and unverified social media posts rather than substantiated news.
