I have been building similar solutions for many years and I think I have the answer for you. In Nigeria, credit history is collected, compiled, and made available to lenders by licensed Credit Bureaus.

Some of the licensed credit bureaus in Nigeria include:

❯❯ FirstCentral Credit Bureau

Most of these credit bureaus provide APIs to developers. For instance, the following are API endpoints available from some of them:

❯❯ CreditRegistry: https://www.creditregistry.ng/api/
❯❯ CRC Credit Bureau: Also provides an API, but you’ll need to contact them to obtain the link, by sending an email to: contactus@crccreditbureau.com or automations@crccreditbureau.com.
