the nationality is where the plane is registered. simple as that. the child can also claim the parents nationality but that option is very clear.
that's why most airlines don't like carrying pregnant women beyond 32 weeks of gestation. The Nationality of the parents is primary. That isn't even an option as it is statutory. As for the Country the plane is registered to and the country whose airspace you are in that is dependent on the laws of the countries involved as some countries have laws against it. And the reason airlines don't like carrying pregnant women isn't nationality, it is because maternal healthcare and delivery is stressful and dangerous.
