Kemi was not born in Nigeria but inherited citizenship, and from my interpretation she is correct by saying she cannot pass it to her children.

Everyone knows that Kemi Badenoch is right. Regardless of what the constitution says, if British born Kemi Badenoch tried to get Nigerian citizenship for her Children, not only will her dual citizenship be a stumbling block, the fact that her children's father is not a Nigerian will count against her

But had she married a Nigerian man, it would have been the man that would have had to go and get the citizenship for the children, because if she tried to do it, they will frustrate the living daylights out of her
