RomanceRe: Mr Nairaland [December 2014] Contest Winner - Naijaboiy! by Myque1(m): 4:19pm On Nov 22, 2014
Naijaboiy, if you eventually win this, (which from all indications you should,) you owe your campaign team the world. They've been supersolid. All the contestants have something I love about each of them hence I'm yet undecided on whom to vote for. May the deserving man win.

The OP outlines criteria used and even states a caveat. I guess that takes care of everything else.
If you had taken the time to observe the comments above where the OP was quoted, you would have easily seen that the caveat was inserted after my comment was made, which I commend the OP for as I believe the addition was necessitated by the observation made in my contribution. It does indeed take care of a lot of things.

OP, when creating threads as these, please be sure to make it explicit that it's your opinion you're expressing, and not something that is factual and proven beyond any reasonable doubt, to avoid coming off as being myopic. I won't even start to point out the very many levels on which I disagree with some of the schools you put up there, but then that's just my own opinion. Nonetheless, well done.

I can only wonder what brought about such a prohibition.
PhonesRe: Top 5 Reason Why Tecno Is Still The Worst Android Phone Ever by Myque1(m): 9:35am On Nov 20, 2014
The lack of software update is the major problem with Tecno. Apart from that, I can't really complain about anything else. I've used my Phantom A+ for almost 2 years now. It's fallen an average of 3 times a month, once from a height of almost 6 feet, and the screen still isn't broken. Maybe I'm just lucky, but then again, maybe I'm not. Tecno may not be the best Android brand, but if you download a good keyboard and handle the phone with care, you should have no problems. Could use a better camera though.

If you're ready to aim for nothing short of an A in everything you have left, then it's possible. Just give it your all and leave the rest to the Almighty.

I can't vouch for the rest but I have no argument about Petroleum Engineering. FUTO and UNILAG are pretty solid in that department. I know.
All these threads about universities of recent though...

CareerRe: Professions Whose Graduates Get Jobs Easily In Nigeria by Myque1(m):
I agree with Dentistry, Medicine and Education. Healthcare will forever need hands, and so will Education. I'm not sure I agree with Law these days though. Most fresh law graduates I know end up anywhere but in a Law Court. You have to be exceptional, or very highly favoured, to make any major headway with Law. And why don't I see anything about Engineering there? In my humble opinion, it should be number 1. The vast majority of Engineering graduates I have come across have considerably well-paying jobs, and that's if they don't go ahead to become gainfully self-employed and even create jobs for others. You really can't go wrong with most Engineering degrees...even when you graduate with not-so-wonderful grades.
And yes, do I have to talk about the surprisingly many doors courses such as English Language can open for you? Ask around and see for yourselves!

EducationRe: Universities & Polytechnics With The Best Graduates In Nigeria by Myque1(m): 5:03am On Nov 04, 2014
Again, I do not see FUTO. That school is in the business of putting out the best of brains every year. I know because I have seen. UNN, UNILAG, UI & OAU have also been commendable. But then, all of them are first generation universities, so you shouldn't expect anything less. All other FUTs should also be worthy of commendation. I don't really care for a ranking, I just won't agree with a top 5 without FUTO. Jah Bless!
