It took us time to get here. Container took a few days shy of 2 months to land. Nigerian Customs and her Government made sure to double the clearing timeline by going on strike and frustrating clearing processes. Eventually, we took possession of the container sometime in April albeit a significant increase in clearing cost. Make we no talk wetin our eyes see. We can confidently say we are here to stay and will keep providing our customers with quality service. To our first customers who believed in us and were extremely patient in spite of the delays and extended delivery timeline, we appreciate you. You guys are the real MVPs. Container left Canada on the 15th of January and arrived Tincan Port, Lagos, Nigeria on the 26th of February which was a Saturday. We had hoped that we'll have our clearing agent continue the clearing process on Monday, the 28th of February.
As we speak, no significant progress has been made. Although we saw in the news that the policy has been annulled and a one month moratorium period given to enable clearance of backlogs. We also hear that this is propaganda and that custom are still quoting outrageous custom duties. We are closely monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.
To those whose cars are in the container, we urge you to exercise patience with us as this is totally out of our control, we would ensure that your cars are cleared the appropriate way and at no extra cost to show our gratitude for trusting us.
In the meantime, while we wait for the Nigerian customs to go back to status quo, we will post cars with only purchase and shipping costs. When the Nigerian Custom Services finalizes and we know the current quotations for custom duties, we will revert to quoting prices inclusive of clearing costs.

Yes, "clearing" means custom fee. You pay no extra money to get your car at the port.
It takes between 45 and 90 days for the car to arrive Lagos depending on how the car is shipped (Roro vs Containerized). The most recent cars we shipped (containerized) will take only 45 days to arrive Lagos.
