hoygift: Just like the one we have here, it's nothing unusual today, but weren't a news in the past. These are action camps where smart people tend to profit from human activities, and the environment communicates with the artists. Running a movie camp is not simple, probably artists went home without eating, if the medically sick isn't attended to. It's a wrong competition over there, especially in Nigeria where - one thing the mean two things. Make person no go try weting go give am awaiting trial for this country. It's appalling if you ask me. |

Sodiq3: No serious journalist will write such report without having a scanned copies of the said case. If you follow Saharareporters well, you will know that if there was such evidence, it will be an accompanying picture with the story. It is more than three days the Zamfara government denied the report, yet Saharareporters is yet to come back with evidence. Instead, they stylishly deleted the report without any corrigendum or apology. That story alone can set the state or the country on fire. Yet nobody has been held responsible. We need press freedom but that also comes with responsibility on the press. Social responsibility is good when it comes to media freedom. Do you know if the zamfara state government and other political heavy weights weighed in on them to delete the report so as to save face for botg the government and Islam |

chinchum: Talk is cheap. Mention the licences that have been shared to cronies in ogoni land. I guess it is the same easy loose talk . Nigerians are all a reflection of the leaders. Although some are worse than the other. In 2016 at the height of low oil price and vandalism, by a group called avengers, many states were owing over 6 month of salaries to civil servant due to very low states allocation. It took a 20yr repayment period BAIL OUT to almost 30 states to save the day. The overwhelming majority of Nigerians are not different than the "luuters". Dey play. Enjoy your pay in peace!! Don't tag me again!! Good luck and posterity will reward your unborn generations 👏 |

Themanleshey: Try other country and compare the cost of things there then you will see that Nigeria is very cheap to live and that is why it’s not growing.

Politics › Re: Oil Production To Resume In Ogoniland Soon, After 30 Years - Ribadu by Nahunger(m): 1:39am On May 24, 2025 |
chinchum: That cheap money from oil production was what made majority of Nigerians benefited from highly subsidised tertiary education , fuel subsidy for many years and even cheaper cost of living compared to many west african counterpar. E.t.c. It is the failure of civil servants and politicians to use that cheap money from oil to diversify to other production to improve our income base that led us to where we are right now. Our population was increasing in great measure, yet our biggest earner which used to be about 2.3million barrels per day of oil production reduced to 1 million barrels per day. Most Nigerians don't understand cause and effect. An increase in oil production will improve the country. The question is to what extent? Many politicians, civil servants as well are planning to steal though, the reason why wealth is not distributed. We understand cause and effect!!! But Nigeria is bereft of economic laws, we all know the oil licence has already being shared to cronies.. How is it possible Nigerian government can't build a bigger and functional refinery than that of Dangote do the maths... Nothing will change, it's just a circus trip. Even if we produce 50 million barrels per day, nothing will change. The poor leaders of before are were even better in terms of welfare and investment than the present crop of luuters 😁😁😁🤗 |

I used to doubt when they said bots comments and APC 30k crew comment on this platform. But with this thread my eye clear 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nigeria has been drilling oil for more than 30 years yet. 1. Food cost 2. House rent cost 3. Transport cost 4. No pipe borne water 5. High unemployment 6. Heavy tax to foot the bill from excess borrowing 7. Very poor electricity And yet those bots up there are saying, drilling oil in ogoni lane is a good thing and will improve Nigeria, like how? In what way 🤣🤣 Delusions 🤣🤣🤣 |
