The sizes can go as high as 64Gb RAM / 1TB ROM, which will actually been seen in the settings of the device but [/b]further investigation on the device IMEI will show you the true extent of the size which is usually lower than even the expected standard.

Software Manipulation: Scammers flash custom firmware onto cheap tablets that modify the Android system files (like build.prop) to display inflated RAM (e.g., 8GB instead of 2GB) or storage (e.g., 512GB instead of 32GB) in the "About Phone" settings.
Physical Hardware is Weak: The device physically contains minimal RAM and storage, often just 16GB or 32GB, with hacked controllers that lie to the operating system.
Performance Issues: When you try to use the extra storage or RAM, files disappear, apps crash, and the device becomes unusable because the physical memory isn't there.

How to Spot Fake Specs

Use Diagnostic Apps: Install apps like CPU-Z (available on Google Play) to get true hardware information, showing actual RAM and storage.

Check IMEI/Serial Number: Dial *#06# to get the IMEI, then verify it on the brand's official website or trusted IMEI checkers to confirm the device's real specs.
Inspect Packaging & Build: Look for sealed boxes, quality build, and unique serial/authenticity codes; counterfeits often have poor quality.

Beware of "Too Good to Be True" Prices: Extremely low prices for high-spec devices are a major red flag.
